- DRIVECLUB companion app: We’ll have more news on this soon.
- More free cars: There isn’t a new free car coming in July but we’ve got some awesome cars lined up for you in August and September!

Driveclub is a nice game, unfortunately always had problems, also now they did not solve all issues, for example since two weeks the world ranking does not work, every day people go down instead to go up, immagine that 2 weeks ago I was number 571, last night I was 703, and I play and earn points every day. One of the good things is that wheels work fantastic, you have only to turn on FBB (Min.max), and angle rotation ( from 270 to 1080 ) the opposite of Project cars where you loose your mind to setup the wheels among a lot of unnecessary settings. In the last update Driveclub released elite levels (from 61 to 65) for the best drivers that need to pass time trial events very very hard. Actually the game costs 29 Eur, I suggest to buy it if you want to have fun, mod multiplayer with 12 drivers for each race is really nice.
Compared to GT patches, it’s quite refreshing to read notes written by a decent PR person.
@SavageEvil,before spouting on about the chip and what works and doesn’t work, you should get your facts straight and stop spreading mis-information.
It would be nice if they give us the replay mode.
Pretty sure it has one already.
You are right. They’ve added the replay mode later on.
Been there for quite some time now…
And yet people still write this game off as being horrible because of the launch.
Obvious post is obvious, so there you go Gtplanet:
I want these cars in Gran Turismo not DriveClub!!!!!!1!!!1!11!!!!
:)
This is a great game. Just wish I had a compatible wheel for it (thanks a lot Sony).
EXACTLY. $400 worth of Fanatec CSR and pedals … and I can’t use it. Come on EVO. PCars’ dev did it, you can too. Heck, EVO, you’re a first party game dev (if I’m not mistaken *putting sriracha sauce on foot just in case*)!!!!
That’s the way the cookie crumbles bro, Sony requires a security chip on all new devices that connect via USB and also be licensed, does Fanatec even have a license to produce any devices for PS4? If not then we understand why they haven’t even gotten a flag allowing their older products like how Thrustmaster got from Sony to allow the TRS 500 wheel to work on PS4 and that has no chip in it at all.
This seems like it would be a great game if it had Project CARS’ wheel support.
Completely unrelated, but the JPEG compression in the banner image is killing my eyes.
It’s those certain trees in India – it really is tricky to get enough depth-of-field bur onto them without killing back the mid-ground too much.
As an aside, the new filters help a great deal with the tonal loss under compression.
If the default 800p GTP resize in the source post doesn’t hurt the eye enough, they made sure to make it worse… Can DriveClub photos still only be exported through PS4share? So maximum quality is mildly compressed 1080p jpg?
Oh yeah!!!
This is looking to be one of, if not the, best expansions for DC yet!
