Speaking as a Cadillac fan, God I wish I also had money for diecasts. The Sunoco livery espescially is just .

On the other end of Germany, BMW will run a more contemporary special livery

^Definitely an interesting one, that. I do feel like the blue is a little too dark, though.

Also, Robert Wickens will be racing with DXDT at Road America, as DXDT's regular MEC driver Salih Yoluc has had to bow out due to a family emergency.

Always good to see Wickens race, but I hope that all's well for Yoluc and his family.

I liked it that the race direction handed out so many penalties for different things but after the 4 hours mark they started to become more lenient again (Cadillac vs Porsche => "incidental contact")

I wonder why IMSA racing is so much more chaotic than WEC, especially in the closing stages.

Having watched for years, its seems like its always Road America that brings out the worst in driving standards. Even back in the ALMS and Grand-Am times, it was quite hectic

Sucks that we're losing Pfaff next year, potentially along with Paul Miller Racing, but I can respect that they're doing this in order to put more money into CTMP and help boost grassroots racing in Canada. Hope that they return at some point in the coming years.

I wonder if Lamborghini can find another team to help bankroll running the Temerario in IMSA. The car is clearly competitive, so it would suck to have it dissappear from the grid after only 1 season.

Paul Richard blue tarmac next to the white line would fix the track limit problem by ripping the tyres off any car that goes wide on a corner. Could be argued as a safety measure. If it works it could be extended to any track with track limit issues.

For once I watched a 6 hours that was not a snoozefest, so welcome to any worst driving standards or track limit "problems". Elkhart Lake is the best circuit on Earth, even more so with the grasscrete added to a few more corners this year - besides the Kink in 2025.
