I'm also trying to decrypt the LMP1 ACFSK to modify their performance but it's complicated... Maybe @Caddy_DPi could help us, it seems to me that he has already succeeded in decrypting the DPI of Rollovers

to be fair the rollovers DPi's weren't encrypted, I still use them and I changed the AI and they are near enough on bleeding par with the LMP1s. The data isn't encrypted it's the model that is for the ACFSK ones.

Yeah, as @SpeedStar2000 said, there isn't much I can do about it. The DPis weren't encrypted actually. These LMP1s are, however.

But even if they weren't, I still don't think that it is worth it to modify them. ACFSK is on my blacklist. It's better to wait for a better conversion.

Merry Christmas to everyone!
Could anyone make a conversion of this track? https://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Omnitel 1000km
waz looking for a project so had a very quick 6 hour run at it on me day off from holidays, very ruff , didnt do any objects for it ,just a straight conversion, think sum of the bumps are a bit squarish for assetto , AI is struggling through the chicanes , going away again so heres as far as i got with it, bare bones conversion that needs alot of work , but.. playable

Hey all,

Just a lurker making his first post. Question, is there an efficient way to load different Sol configs (i.e. loading one config for gameplay and a different one for replays?). So far, I've saved a copy of each .lua file and just drag and drop to change them automatically.

Thanks!

I used the templates from @DaBaeda (thanks for doing that) but created a PSD file with additional layers for you. Paint whatever you want on the "Paint Layer" and then save it as a DDS when you are finished.
If you open the car in the CM showroom and save it as a PSD each time you do something it will update in real time to reflect your changes.

Shout me in PM if you want any more help.

Remove the .txt from the attached file

(oops sorry tagged the wrong person)
thank you very very much! I will send you any questions MP!

I'm not sure how I missed @norms optimization, but wow, it's sooo much better. In looking "underneath the hood" of the ai, I noticed the fast lane looked like it was done by coasting around the track. It actually works pretty well as is, but from what I understand it could throw off fuel calculations for the ai (not mention there was no ideal_line.ai file in the data folder). This should improve the speed and consistency of the ai. Tested at 100% strength and aggression with Kunos GT3, and several of the RSS open wheel mods.

AI hint and pit lane for Kyalami 1967:
https://mega.nz/file/Sl41Ca7L#jcqBF3Yl47iuCsrlJElvjZiME4PiT0PssVLzFo_4teg

This is a small tweak- an ai hint for last corner, and smoother entry and exit for pit lane. This was done with the GPL 1967 mod in mind. Keep aggression level at 80% or below for this car/track combo.

AI for Spa 1966:

https://mega.nz/file/C54TXS5a#hN9Qdw_Q8TghgKiDDc2YQ8dABYhEEaDQnnVHSP_o2z0

Speaking of GPL 1967's, a member over at RD asked me to look at Spa 1966 for this car. It seems like a natural combination, but I'm having hard time taming this car on Spa 1966. The look ahead numbers in the car's ai.ini is quite aggressive, and at high speed, they tend to fly off the track. I literally almost had to write an ai hint for every corner. Reducing aggression did not help as much as I would have hoped, surprisingly, but at 80% I mostly was able to get them to stay on track. The only problem is the member thinks they are too slow now, although in my testing the the lap times were equal, if not a hair better with my reworked ai. So if anyone is a fan of this mod car, please test this out with this track, and let me know what you think. Detailed info would help, like problems with specific corners, etc. I've been pulling my hair out on this one... :banghead:
Thank you for all your excellent AI work. I use a lot of your files and they make AC even better :)

The Mega link for the @norms optimised Baku is no longer working. I've searched elsewhere on internet and can't find a link to this optimised Baku.

Can anyone re-upload?

And thank you to all the contributors of this thread. The work is much appreciated :)

EDIT: I just saw the upload from @Fanapryde a few pages back. Thank you very much. I've been looking forward to this one for some time. The Baku layout is very pleasing, I find.

After my HD died I am in the process of re-installing AC with mods. Currently I am searching for the Melbourne GP-track. I remember I had a Acu-version with a few optimisations but I can't recall where I got all the pieces from. Maybe one of you guys is kind enough uploading a most up-to-date version of Albert Park?
Many, many thx in advance!

Gutbomb recommends this one and the link still works:

well said. But at a guess we got a long time to wait for another good conversion. At the moment these are the only ones we have, for now. VRC got the kolles so that's 2 down, 3 to go. (ginetta, BR1, TS050 2018) But you can say 2 left since we have the LMP1 rebalanced TS050 which is quick (but not as fast as the audi and the porsche). And as @Caddy_DPi mentioned he can't do bugger all about it. Rollovers was a cake in the walk. If anything is encrypted then it's another level of a simple word: problem.

Here's the first volume of my Assetto Corsa Track Duplicate Overview Project Extended or ACT DOPE. (This isn't the real name)

Adria Raceway
Testing Car: Mazda RX-8 Renesis 13b

Folder Name: adria
Author: Mitja Bonca
Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/adria-raceway.3465/
This was converted from an old track by Slider916 and CodeF1. I don't know if it's something about my PC's configuration or what, but this track is extremely bright. I tried disabling CSP and Sol, but it's still way bright. Trackside objects are nice and detailed and it's a fun track to drive, but it's just so hard to see. I also notice some pink artifacts on things that are supposed to be transparent. I only play in VR so these problems may be exclusive to that. I imagine all of these problems can be addressed with an INI file, but when we have 13x's great version I haven't bothered.

Author: 13x (@damone13x)
Download: https://mega.nz/file/LXoGTaiJ#kgWPUIlufFnamoTwAOlemw7sky3l8eiM0lEShu1MSUM
This is a really great rendition of this track. The only comment I have on it at all is that it's bumpier than Mitja's version but maybe it's supposed to be bumpy? No graphical artifacts, it's not super bright, and it's a joy to drive on. I give this version the edge.

Ahvenisto
Testing Car: Porsche 964 3.8 RS

Folder Name: ahvenisto
Author: AnssiH
Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ahvenisto.10846/
This one is pretty good with no glaring problems other than the absence of a map, but Content Manager cleared that right up. The variety in the trees is good so they don't seem repetetive. There are a lot of trackside objects that just aren't there though.

Folder Name: ahvenisto_rc
Author: Jaasu
Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ahvenisto-race-circuit.16490/
This version has really nice grass, it looks great, as well as trackside buildings and objects that really make it feel like a real place. The trees are not quite as varied as the other version but it still looks good. I tried it at night and unfortunately the trackside lights didn't actually light up but this might just be an ini file away from working. This is the version for me.

Update: I put together a lighting package for this so now the lights work at night:

Albert Park
Testing Car: RSS Formula Hybrid 2020

Folder Name: albertpark
Author: tomj
Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/melbourne-grand-prix-circuit.2498/
This one is bright and video-gamey. A lot of the trackside objects are pretty low-poly but that's not to say it looks bad, it's just not super detailed.

Folder Name: albert-park
Author: ACU
Download: https://sharemods.com/katb25vylxp9/albert-park.7z.html
I Believe this is a conversion from one of the Codemasters F1 games and it's pretty high quality. The version I downloaded has DRS zones included and blasting the 2019 Formula Hybrid around this track is awesome.

Algarve
Testing Car: Lada Riva 1.5E Catalyst

Folder Name: algarve_international_circuit
Author: Tiago Lima
Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/algarve-international-circuit.2874/
There are no glaring flaws with this version, but it definitely looks older and slightly less detailed than the Reboot version, but that's not to say it's not good, it is really good. It feels slightly bumpier and only a little bit less refined.

Folder Name: algarve
Author: AC Track Reboot
Download: https://sharemods.com/fjev0y8jas6m/algarve.7z.html
This version looks more detailed and it seems to have been smoothened a little bit, but not too much. There are still bumps in the road and that's a good thing. Lighting and detail are just a little bit better than Tiago Lima's version. It's definitely good.

Auto24Ring
Testing Car: Formula Renault 3.5 2014 HDF

Folder Name:
auto24ring
Author: mcarno
Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/auto24ring-estonia.20491/
This track is really fun to drive on in the right car. A Pagani Huayra was the car I used for testing here at first and it was definitely not the right car. (I usually let CM pick a random car for me for these tests and only switch it if it seems wildly inappropriate). Once I switched to the Formula Renault I had a much better time. Nothing bad about the way it looks other than some grass growing where it probably shouldn't.

Folder Name: zw_auto24ring
Author: Zwiss
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/bcqy4..._v1.5_by_mcarno_and_updated_by_ZWISS.rar/file
This is a rework of the other version and it is mostly optimization and AI changes. It also fixes the grass. It makes an already good track into a great one. Grab this one!

Autodrom Most
Testing Car: Porsche 901 1964

Folder Name: autodrom_most/autodrom_most_no_chicane
Author: CidJc
Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/autodrom-most-chicane-and-no-chicane.14426/
This one is pretty bumpy. It looks really nice, but I feel like the road surface could just be a bit smoother. It does have one advantage of having a no-chicane variant included.

Folder Name: tmm_autodrom_most
Author: TM Modding
Download: https://tm-modding.eu/download/autodrom-most/
I don't know for sure but I highly suspect that this is a rework of the one above. I suspect that because the hotlap start is in the exact same spot on the track at the same jaunty angle and dropping my car from the same distance in the air. It would be quite the coincidence if it wasn't. At any rate they've done a good job of making things look a little nicer and smoothing out those bumps.

Autopolis Oita
Testing Car: Honda NSX NA1

This track is definitely old looking, but it's still pretty good. Main problems I have with it are that the trees are a bit ugly and yellow, and there's a lot of flickering in them. Not sure what the deal is with that. Trackside objects look fine, the signs look good, and it's overall a pretty cool rendition. The transitions from sand to grass are a bit harsh and there's some pretty bad 3d grass going on. With some modern attention this could really be improved...

Folder Name: zw_autopolis
Author: Zwiss
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/9g5hvh8mxflyesu/Autopolis_NFS_by_Zwiss_v2.0.zip/file
...Which is exactly what Zwiss has done here. The improvements are so numerous that it's hard to believe it's the same track. He's eliminated the harsh angular white road lines, replaced the trees with something that looks nice. Made the trackside look much less busy, added grassfx, and all kinds of little touches that make it more realistic. This is DEFINITELY the version to get.

Hey, any chance there's an updated link for the zw_auto24ring and/or the aa_adriaraceway?

Hello!

I've changed front bumper to a car and now in the tx_diffuse the bumper is mixed wit other parts. (see attached)

Other parts that I've added have their own texture to skin separately.

How to avoid that?

Thanks in advance!
