Maybe your right, i believe they starting their work before f1 2021 release, and i dont know if an f1 2021 mod is available on other game like automobilista to pickup models...

I think they are getting their models from real racing. Like they did last year.

Edit, I was going to add the flag, but it is already present in my Country Flags file ("VC"). Atm it doesn't show though, checking...

Edit2: just change the country to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (now it's St. Vincent and doesn't get recognized).

he does not see the track in the list of countries however the VC flag is in the Countrylds.json file
and I just change St. to Saint in all ui_track.json
now it's ok for me thank you @Fanapryde for your post 🙏 👍

Hello guys.. so tomorrow Sim Dream is going to release their F1 2021 mod...

Anyone knows where they stole the models from this year?
They keep telling that its scratch made and even show wip photos but iam not believing them..

I mean it's tough, but I really want to give them the benefit of the doubt. They've tried to show that this mod was scratch made alot, but until they make everything else on their site free that was ripped i'm a little hesitant. But these f1 cars look pretty nice to be honest. At what point do we forgive and try to move forward? Idk!!

There's like 3 other F1 2021 mods out there already. I'm not sure how many we need but one of them is from RSS at that. I'm not sure this is the one to get giddy over but sure, throw another one into the mix. The proof is in the car. If it's good to use, immersive, feels real enough for what it's worth and is exclusive to only it's creator, I'm sure they could slowly but surely rebuild their name.
That takes time though.

True, the RSS one is pretty great, but at the end of the day its just a bunch of liveried cars. The attraction to the simdream one is different models for each car. I'll definitely wait to see what people say!

I didn't set out to get all these, but from downloading everything in this thread over the years we almost got the full set :lol:

Some cars I have that are different/in addition to your list:
Alfa 4C GT3 Harpy (can be found in assettoland)
Citroen GT Race Car (RTM mod)
Viper SRT GT3 (from assettoland, closer to the one in GTS whereas yours is a modified road version by Beto)
Matech Ford GT (from KENNETH discord. This is probably the real car PD based the one in game on, I can't find the Spec II Test Car)
Mazda RX Vision GTE (from this thread)
Lancer Evo GT500 (from this thread)
GR Supra GT3 (from this thread)

Cars still missing:
Mustang Gr.3
Atenza Gr.3
Peugeot VGT Gr.3
Beetle Gr.3

Downloaded the Alfa.
I'm not gonna purchase a car from RTM. I'll try and find it in another way.
Viper, the assettoland version is as far as I can see an older version. The version I have also isn't correct, but is the newer model and is an higher quality mod.
Ford GT, I got the ag ford GT gt1. only difference in appearance is the straight spoiler. I'm not on the kenneth discord.
Downloaded the Mazda lancer and supra.

I've seen someone made a skin for the Mustang, which is done by a FB group. Lets see if I can get my hands on that one.

Thanks for the BOP list. First lets get the cars in the same range. I have cars doing 1:54 Lago Maggiore, and some cars doing 2:03. let's first get them to a more respectable 1:56.

True, but on the other hand, they are also developing mods that could in no way be based on ripped models (AFAIK there is no modern game featuring the Brabham BT42 they have released, and they are also modelling a Peugeot 9X8 from scratch) - this points to them hiring one or several 3d artists.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

would be nice if there is RSS physics on accurate model F1 cars for each team, I really hate driving generic F1 cars with different skins

RSS, ACFL and I had a 3rd one but looks like I deleted it due to RSS having a great representation and ACFL having the 3 separate cars. It probably wasn't great or worth keeping anyways. Personally I don't do much Formula Hybrid driving. If the scope here is that SimDream, at chance, is going to model each of the cars separately from each team, with some type of realistic varying physics, then I say bring it on.

I really wish someone would model every single f1 car of one season, including every single change made on it for every single track because it's really easy to see a slightly differently shaped wing. I think the amount of cars needed would be of like 500 cars for a single season, doesn't seem too much

Best thing I ever did was delete every F1 car from the early 1990s onwards. The older analogue cars are so much more rewarding to drive.

Sorry, 3rd one was ASR-H-2020.
It was a 2020 car instead of 2021.

I tried to get the RSS and VRC Indy cars, as well as the RSS Hyperion, working a little better on their appropriate layouts. IIRC there are some other tweaks to the other tracks as well. Adjusted the geotags to get them a little closer to actual track.

As always, back up your track and remove any .bin or cache files from each layout's ai folder for a clean install.

Thanks for your work :) Unfortunately still getting AI running off turn 6 into the dirt, like 3 at a time now :crazy: AI aggressiveness only 85-87%

Thanks @chazz ranger and others for the head's up on some ai issues at rt sonoma. I've updated the ai, again, to get a wider variety of cars working on different tracks. I also forgot to mention original fast lanes are by @LiquidSkyMan, with the exception of the WTCC layout. Testing was done at 80-100% strength and aggression.

I can't understand, all cars use wet tires and not dry tires, how do I change AI tires from wet tires to dry tires?
