same here.
since the protech gt3, new rss are unraceable.
I don't even know how to complain since the discord channel seems to be for publicity and events only.
I've mailed them though, one of those incredibly annoying long drunk rants.
been a week, no reply.


don't know how similar the issue is, but as I reported here some time ago, Chemflummi's tt3 works seems problematic too.
the AKR gen3s are (despite the unglorious looks) quite heavy but manageble on most tracks.
weirdly enough, no problem with the LMHs from the big names.

A shame. I have heard through a few people that they're a little "high on their own success" and don't take criticism well lately. Even if it is of the drunken variety. 😁

IMO it's the sound. AC is badly optimized for over 512 channels, some of the new cars have over 100 channels each. When the limit is reached AC starts throttling.

Try to limit sound of other cars in CM. It helps a little, but it's not an optimal solution.

Unfortunately I have my surrounding cars sound limited to 3 (and 4 sometimes) - and changing it up and down didn't make a difference.

A solid idea, though.

CSP previews seem broken beyond belief.
Do one car with this setting and it's fine.
Do a second car using the exact same preview and the camera pan and zoom are all over the place like a mad woman's piss.
What gives?

Well I was mashed beyond belief but I just told them that my rss grids were going fine until they didn't
I may, I repeat I may have gone a bit too deep then in remarking that the protech isn't exactly the latest boy in town and that they should steer back to mods usability or either release some damn statement that explains something.

But it's really clear, we have a sweet new DTM 2025 skinset on OT that exploits all new rss gtms.
It's a perfect example on how to systematically bring AC to it's knees, guaranteed results.

The only other time I've experienced a similar performance disaster has been when I tried to race a grid with 6 Chemflummi's cars (both Reiter's and the 296) and some of the older gt-ms.

By the way I'm sure I'm the only one who likes the Lux

I have an issue with the last version of csp.
I have several aero version of one car in the same folder, previously with the ext_config like this:

Hello

That's because you have it in CM showroom and not the showroom which puts the car in game with all extensions active. If you load the car into the game you will not see the white bits e.t.c. The showroom you are using just loads the base model with no csp bits and bobs

I've always been intrigued by these situations where someone shares something that supposedly works well for him (otherwise, I guess he wouldn't share it. I guess...), and another person says it doesn't... and my analytical mind searches for explanations that fail because of missing data: what PC are we using in each case, potato or NASA...? VR or screen/s? Resolution...? Hotlap or crowded race...? CM and CSP versions...? Settings...? PPF...?

It's difficult to know all the facts involved, I know, but would help to find solutions...

I had similar problems some time ago. I reverted my Nvidia Gpu drivers to 566.36 and problems were gone.

I also had problems with my RTX 4080 Super with a newer version of the Nvidia Gpu driver and so I'm still on 566.36. No performance problems so far on my side. But I have really a highend PC.

Yes 512 is the best setting. Tried changing it to 1024 and it was worse. That's why I said that AC has problems with anything over 512. Maybe Ilya could take a look if anything could be improved. If any of the people here is in contact with him.

You could try reducing both of the "FADE" options in the ext_config.ini to a lower number. That usually helps with the performance. I left it at the default settings so you may have to adjust around with it.

If you experience such drastic fps loss, ALWAYS open CSP Lua Debug app.
It will tell you if there are errors. The newer mods today using lua scripts.
So it should be the first look there and you will see, that it caused by it. And mostly it is caused by older CSP version, which not have the functions or parameters which are called in those lua scripts.

And the big fps loss is caused by the lua system then itself. If there is an error, the system changes to a failsafe state and this will gain the CPU consumption tremendously and so fps goes down...

You can also try to change the CSP settings "Limit audio" and "Limit audio for other cars" under "GENERAL PATCH SETTINGS/CPU optimizations" to reduce the number of used audio samples.

Little participation to the thread, i made a Suzuka 60s better fastlane for sergio loros/rainmaker's track. It 's a lot better on my end, although still perfectible.

Also since i'm gonna be off for the summer there are my pet project graphic attempts (scripted ppfilters and reshade presets) from the last month. Everything is in the vid description here

Hi Peter, I opened it in one of the moments when I have the fps collapse but I don't know how to interpret, I took a screenshot.

For those who wanted to know, I play at 1440p with fairly high settings despite a 3070ti graphics card, practice mode, only one car, I go from day with 120 fps and if I set night it becomes 15fps.

Normal to see the showroom like that for this one, but it should generate correctly when you make the preview provided you have the option selected to use CSP for preview generation.
