Is there any chance this skin exists for the vrc mod?

However... if someone can code Python, I'd love to improve the 90's and 2000's leaderboards and add all the genuine animations. I use Photoship at work so I'm good with the graphics but there are certain things I'd like to have coded. Like the drivers should be shown horizontal at the bottom of the screen.

I'm not a coder and I've used the same leaderboard base code that everyone else uses. I can just do some simple modifications to the code but nothing proper advanced stuff. Is there any Python coder who could help me?
Have you tried using AI? I saw someone a while back make graphics for AC using AI.

I'm sure this livery has been done before, the Superman one. Have you checked Overtake?

Yes i have it doesn't exist.

Also random question what's the best car previews for CM to use for all sorts of cars?

Hi anyone know a fix for why the VRC volvo and Alfa don't move on track for me? is there a further setting i need to do ? Couple of other cars do it too i'm on latest CSP patroen and use a wheel and use extended physics

I've got a weird issue. In the dry, all cars will pit regardless of track, but in the wet, it's a mixed bag.

So, for Silverstone 2005 (knr_silverstone_2005) it won't pit, but for Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (canada_2021) it will pit. I'm not sure what's causing it.

depends on what you define as "the best" preview :D
all previews depend on the quality of the mods
Fair point,
For me i did like the recent one that @Fall Guy did with the Aomori Showroom, but Gumroad for me isn't working no matter what i do. Which for me is such a shame cause I've had ClearGT for ages and wanted to do something different. Any other suggestions you'd recommend?

Couple of posts, with what I like, for you to look at?
This one with the showroom, and this one with the settings.

I have one but I have fiddled with it so much I don't even know which preview it was at first lol

But you have to play around with large cars and it looks like **** after :(

I agree with you. With W11 I noticed several performance drops everywhere, not just in games. Luckily, AC has several optimization settings, but you can still feel the difference compared to W10 😔
I was on the fence to go w11... reading this I was glad I'm still on W10 and determined to stay on it!...

BUT then this got posted:
Maybe this could also be alternatives to consider.

here is a screenshot from that video , which says the opposite:

according to this, across several games , the performance increases on W11 compared to W10 (and not just by a few percent).

So which is it? Only in AC it's worse and other games much better? (Hard to believe... )

Are there others that can share their experiences (AC performance wise) after an upgrade to W11 from W10, because now I'm back on the fence :)

EDIT: I think what is also important to look at is Latency... and there win10 trumps win11 :

I did change the background of that one a little :embarrassed:

Hello,

Quick question, is there any way to increase the brightness/ intensity of a car's REV-lights?

I've recently installed the f1 2011 pack by Cimmerian Iter and I find the cars revlights to be too dim and they fade too easily out in the sunlight.

Is there a way to minimise this issue?

If your are doubtful about LTSC performance my only suggest would be to test it first hand by you with your own hardware. There are sooo much possible hardware combinations that it feels kind of senseless this type of comparisons to me. The hardware this guy has could be potentially quite different from yours, so the performance results could be obviously quite different. It's really hard to find 2 machines with exact 100 % configuration in everything.

As I said in my previous posts, I get rock-solid performance like 90 % of times (60 fps average and 1080p, the maximum my hardware can achieve) in AC and in most games with way more modest hardware than this guy claims to have.

PPF can change that a lot, try another one that is more "neutral" to see if it change anything first.
Otherwise you'll need to change it directly in the data.acd, or ext_config file.

Thx for the reply,

I've tweaked my pp filter and Pure config somewhat already so I would be more interested in editing the car directly.

How could I increase the rev-lights brightness through data.acd or ext_config.ini?
Also could it be done through ini's in the car's data folder, such as lights.ini or digital_instruments.ini?

For me, Ks_Monza_66 is suddenly unusable: a crazy bug prevents the cars from exiting the pits; they enter but never exit. I've changed three different CSPs, toggled "New AI Behavior," etc., but the problem persists...😰😰

Retrolux I can recommend, it looks quite decent, with the correct settings.

Or TAV Moderna with some tweaks.

Depends on what you look for. Currently I use the retrolux again, since it is not influenced by the nasty preview bug which was introduced since CSP 0.2.8 when the wheels are not properly rendered.

Good evening,
Has anyone created this track for Assetto Corsa (AC1): Circuito do Sol (Address: Caminho Municipal 1071, 7830-625 Vila Verde de Ficalho).
It's a fantastic track — would love to drive it in the game!

European cars have LEFT drive side , i'm Italian .......love italian cars . This is a alfa romeo , european car.
This Alfaetta was originally done as part of an Australian effort to add all cars that have run in the Australian Touring Car Championship, particularly in the (Australian) Group C and International Group A era - hence right-hand drive! You'll also note the interiors are from the later plastic bumpered series 2 Alfetta/GTV6.

Yep, that would be ideal, but clumsy people like me are afraid of happily playing around changing operating systems, without having the appropriate knowledge (remember the Nuclear Kitten) and with the possibility of (gasp!) losing irremediably all the work hoarded during countless hours...

And although each PC is a world unto itself, I suppose that, roughly speaking, what improves the performance of a computer compared to something previous in the same computer could be extrapolated to other PC's, with greater or lesser results, of course... Roughly speaking, I insist.

I recently saw some discussion about Windows 10 LTSC here, so I was once again inspired to format my disk and start fresh.

After some thinking, reading and testing, I landed on AtlasOS, with Win11 Pro as base.

And so far, I'm happy. VERY happy. This is the way Windows should have been, stripped of all resource hogging background processes and stuff that nobody wants or needs.

Still, everything works flawlessly, even EA WRC with its invasive anti cheat. CSP preview generation now magically works again, and I can run 70 AI enemies at Le Mans, never dipping below 90 fps. This is golden. AtlasOS ftw.
