How are the track caution lights made?
I mean the ones that are green under normal conditions and flash yellow when there is a yellow flag.

If you can mod it back to stock (with drivers, cars, liveries, sponsors etc.) I can finally get rid of my loose copies from Abandonware!

Very exciting. Still great fun to drive if you can get everything working.
It will have support for the Steam workshop, so in theory it will be possible.

Try this out on the track after adding it to the ext_config.
The fix won't be visible in CM Showroom.

Hi! I wonder if someone has a idea of what is going on. When I try to drive Pessios capri, mustang or eagle the game frezzes right after its load in. You can see the door just starts to open. Its just freeze and then crash. No crash-log etiher.

Its just these cars and Lu Thua Kien´s XJR-9.

Have done tests on different tracks, reinstalled cars and turnt off pit physics.

Dont know what to do next

Tried different csp also. I had this problem for a while maybe a year o so. (has worked before)

Im now on the leatest 0.3.0 p140

Just tried to valied game files to but no luck

Hi, I'm normally just a lurker but posting just to say I have this exact problem with CSP 0.3.0 and the VRC Vokker 85 CSP, FYI. Not sure what causes it, I had to revert to 0.2.12. This is probably not it, but are you on Linux?
 
Lets hope they dont just dont throw re-shade on some upscaled textures.

GP4... I lived, breathed and loved that game back in the day.

I revisited GP4 just recently... went through all the hassle reversing my Thrustmaster pedals and all that in order to get it working... and I have to say time has not been very kind to it. RF2 and AC (and even F1 2018/2020) took everything to such different level, for me it's impossible to roll back (as much as I respect Crammond's games).

It was pretty much the same feeling as when you find your teenage years girfriend from Facebook at 45 years old. Sorry to say that but that's how it felt.

F1 2006 mod is nearly finished.

If I release the mod as it is which means each cars will be 1GB so total space needed is around 15GB what would be the public reaction?

Since all cars have per race livery and aero modification per driver
You can publish the base mod and all the additional liveries separately so that each user can decide whether to download it or not

Yep. Definitely 'of its time'. Rose-tinted glasses are never more powerful than when applied to videogames. Music and movies can be timeless. Videogames, less so.

Hi! okey thats intresting. I just tested both the csp version and without of the Vokker and they both work fine here. Im on Windows 10.
 
Need some suggestions from the logo experts. As I animate more and more of the little flags on Riverside, i'm realizing that they use basically the same 5 flag textures all around the track. In this picture alone there is 5 or 6 '43' flags. I want to make a few more flag textures to break it up a little. Could someone point me towards a few period accurate sponsors (and images if you have them) that I could use to make some extra flag textures. Thanks.

Skins are not mandatory, your should insert only one skin for the full pack, then a separate download for who wants them with all the others. So who don't care about skins, can use base mod with one livery per driver. 15gb for a mod is a lot of space.

Something like this?

If you google image "genuine vintage motor racing logos vector" or even put the specific era in then you should find loads.
Adding 'vector' to the search should eliminate photographs and only show vector logos.
You can probably refine the search with 'sponsors', 'USA' etc and even the year/period if you know it.

Yeah what I will do is include 3 aero in the base mod. So each car would have 6 skin instead of 38

Start, Italia and end of season aero

It'll keep the mod lightweight while having the "important" change of the car in the base mod

And those who wants more can download the addon

May I ask for the differences between TRP and SDD F1 2006? Is your mod a rework of TRP 2006?

TRP is peepeepoopoo and SDD is poopoopeepee

Nah but really TheRaceProject's version uses unnecessary 4-8K textures (lol) and doesn't add **** to the CTDP/ACFL mod

SDD is SDD so you can bet that the models are inaccurate as hell and will use stolen assets left, right and centre
