This may be a stupid question, but,is there a way to switch from manual to drive (auto) in game, for cars that in real life have this option (most paddle shift cars,or like the cayenne)?

Maple Valley FM7 (complete overhaul by nobody & others) released:

Quick and dirty rusty skin (Sounds painful)

Much appreciated. Thanks for giving me that smile on my face!

@Blamer Did you do those skins? I'm loving the rust dripping down the sides of the cars. I must find some better textures and spend more time on trying to achieve that effect.

You shared skin?

Nope, I didn't do those skins, only always loved rusty skins and downloaded some time ago from RD I think.
I got rust skins for:

I can try to pack them if you want to

Haha no worries. I remember doing a rusty skin for a car in GTA V back in the day and your post just sparked that particular brain cell into action 💡

Came out better than I expected but I might need to tone the gloss effect down with an ext_config. I'll mess about and let you know if that works out. And now I know how to personalize number plates too - although the BEATNGU plate looks a bit new so needs some rust on it. I'll update it if I can.

Always good to see my skins in action too so thanks for the video.

I'm absolutely floored by the quality level of the tracks released here today; Maple Valley is gorgeous, but when I tried Prague I was totally gobsmacked! A lap at that track is like taking your summer holidays, it's so incredibly immersive I feel like I've actually been there now. Simply beautiful work - and SOL helped as I had the "overcast" setting on the weather. The mood that this produced was out of this world!

Thanks to everybody who had a hand in converting these tracks for usl

Here's a quick and dirty set of TV cameras for the Prague full course; just rename the file extension from txt to ini and drop it inside the prague/data folder.

Again, I just can't say enough how incredibly impressed I am by today's released. Bravo Zulu to all!

So a small problem I've been having whilst tuning the Genesis GT4 is the ride height. More specifically the front looking like it's been jacked up for off-road use when selecting "align using data" in CM Showroom. It appears like this while driving too I haven't been able to find a suitable suspension from another car that allows me to lower it in the setup. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix it. In the end I'd like the whole car a little lower but for it to have a bit of rake towards the front instead of the rear like in the picture below.

Aside from that, everything else is pretty much good to go, specs are where I want them (440HP, 1420kg) and the tires have been swapped from semi-slicks to the slicks found on the Corvette C7.R (those are the closest slick match, suprisingly). Lap times are a second or two faster than Kunos GT4 times but a second or two slower than the Lotus Evora GX GT4 and I'm assuming the Guerilla cars as well. The car can easily be configured for either BoP by changing the weight value in the car's data folder to your preference.

Other than the specs, the brakes have been improved slightly and the AI.ini has been altered so it stops hitting the curbs so hard and cutting corners all the time.

The only things left to really do are fix the wonky-looking suspension and put Dunlop decals over all the new skins' tire sponsors.

FYI everyone, it says still uploading - 15 mins to go.
Edit: ready now.
Thanks - we've had fun and frustration in equal measures bringing it to you, but Maple Valley is a classic track that deserves a lot of love. The elusive 'nobody' did almost all of the heavy lifting with others supplying the details.
@slider666 even made the wind turbines all rotate at *slightly* different speeds to each other. Lovely little detail that adds to the realism on an almost imperceptible level.
You can´t imagine how frustrated I am. It´s useless. I give up. Both Prague and Maple Valley cause huge fps drops on my system. I have an I7 4790K @4 Ghz, a GTX1070 8Gb and 24 Gb of ram. Alone on track the cpu load is around 40% and the temps between 40º and 55º. The gpu temps around 50º and the load (I guess presumably) 90% plus. All acceptable, I think. With all maxed up in video settings except the MSAA wich is 4x. Why the %&$# am I still getting around 45 fps with drops to 30??? It´s written...I can not indulge myself with the pleasure of driving fluidly on these tracks. Let the corona virus take me...I am not worthy of these tracks...

In fairness i think Prague credit goes mostly to Turn10. It even still has Forza and Turn10 branding!

Yes, but having attempted conversions in the past, I acknowledge the work that goes into that process. Tracks, cars, etc., the process still requires a certain amount of understanding and dedication, and I'm happy to thank the folks who do the "heavy lifting" so I can enjoy it.

Agreed. But The beauty of that track is all Turn10.
I hate it, because it is just not any sort of reality and i hated it in Forza...but it is beautiful...
