and again: top notch on these skins. even if we can't get the correct versions of the 333 SP. Would love to see more of these 333 in the game to be fair it's a great addition adding more classic 90s cars/Skins to AC.

I have more 333 SP in mind, to fill a grid of which we have mods avaliable to complete almost completely

As I'm a noob in the wonderful world of modding I've been these days trying to learn as much as I could about converting cars from a game to AC. For personal use and (of course) learning I've been trying to convert a car from rfactor 1 to assetto corsa, but I don't know the steps.

Can someone please tell me the steps to convert a car? The only one I know is the first one. ASK PERMISSION TO THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR OF THE MOD (if you make it public of course)

In the rear view mirrors ?

I don't see the "ugliness", but if you don't like it, set the mirrors to monitor and you won't see any car parts in the mirror.

No, not in the mirrors. This artifical turn your head about 180 degrees rear view, inwoked by a controller button.

Ah, OK, that's something else. I barely ever use that look back button, but when I tried, none of the cams showed that rear view.

That's a bug in the latest version of CM. AFAIR windows transpareny needs to be disabled (CM -> Settings -> CM -> Appearance) and CM restarted, and quick switches can be added again.

The mapping needs work though, there are multiple areas where you have overlapping which generates ugly blotching in the generated AO map (see below). It's one of the most common issues I find when dissecting mods.

Has anyone tried to make a fountain with a waterfall of this style?

I am not very convinced, I think that if the fall is made with a different material than the surface and transparency is added in the shader it would be better

Some things to "study."

VERY IMPORTANT: Read and follow the AC_Pipeline_PUB_Rev2.0.pdf located at assettocorsa>sdk>dev>car_pipeline_2.0rev (where AC is installed on your PC).

Quick n'dirty if you want wipers working for this mod.

Modify ext_config.ini

Search for:

[WIPERS_TRACE_...]
SURFACE = 282-0-282
WIPERS = Wiper, Wiper3

They are wrong and overwrite with these lines:

[WIPERS_TRACE_...]
SURFACE = geo_windows_int
WIPERS = WIPER_LEFT_RUBBER, WIPER_RIGHT_RUBBER

Testing all cars in the rain now and discovered that the RSS 'Tornado (Lister Storm) isn't completely waterproof. It rains/leaks inside the cockpit. I checked and the roof is still there... 🤔 😄
Is there a quick fix I can do ?

the model was ripped from sketchfab and anonymously released by a member of a certain discord group, ergo no credits in the car model.

Anything half-assed or half finished.

Anything with no road feel.

And almost all ovals.
And anything with static 'flying' objects hit with a freeze ray.

I added that line, but it didn't help, car is still wet inside...
Thanks for thinking along though, would have been a simple solution.
Strangely enough, none of the other RSS cars show this issue.
