Holy-moly!!! Early 2000's sports car racing is my most beloved form of racing. I have a pretty good ALMS 2003 custom grid in AC but without those cars you've mentioned it isn't complete (well, I do have the Lola EX257). Can't wait for you anouncing them! Thanks in advance!

Hopefully you have the VRC cars aswell in advance to help complete your 2003 ALMS. Just a heads up. Expect not these in your 2003 grid: B2K/40, Pilbeam and the WR and few of the GTs

Hello guys! I'm new here ^_^
I'd like my first post to be an occasion to share a mod "pack" that I fixed in order to make the cars even more "lore" friendly to the kunos car park.
It is a selection of cars from AssettoDrive. The fixes that has been made concern various aspects (Car descriptions, previews, livery icons, skins [fixed and added, both interiors and exteriors], upgraded tyres, physics [some cars went under a complete rebuild], balance of performance, corrections in the animations, reviewed car materials, car lighting effects and so on).

I assumed that you were talking about 'tuning' the car in the unpacked data.acd. That is not possible in a encrypted car. You can unpack the data, but after changes they can't be repacked and if you click 'use unpacked data if exists' in CM you will get a crash when you try to go driving.
I was wondering if this car was indeed the encrypted version (which I had binned), so I donwloaded it again, made a little change and got this when I was going to try it:

Not that I didn't already knew it was encrypted because it looked like this in CM showroom:

So, now you know what an encrypted car is.
You can change setups allright (it was most probably no placebo effect), but you can never change data and you can't make custom previews.

Depends what type of encryption. Some (most?) are visually encrypted, some are (stupidly) visually and physics encrypted, and like 2 i think have actual .ini's encrypted.

RSS latest formula for instance is visually encrypted but you can still edit the data.acd and change physics.

Nice to see but rubbish to drive, the physics unluckily is made very badly and I don't know why this version is RHD while IRL is LHD...

It looks like it's been ripped from a very old rally game judging by the origami model. Hasn't the RS200 appeared in a newer car game to provide a better doner? AssettoPedia's RS200 is a better model and is LHD, but is more road car than pure rally.

I guess RD aren't bothered by rips any more?

I don't know if a conversion from dirt2.0 is possible, I'm not really into it.
Btw having dirt in my pc I find useless having rally cars in AC but the Escudo and the SX4 are in my CM since a year :)

A great car to drive, his rework of the Kunos Mclaren F1 is amazing as well.

Would love to get hold of his Renault RS275 but the link is broken or has been taken down.

I did find this Renault Megane on the interwebs and it drives pretty well.

Hi everyone!
Ive done a CSP config for the F2004. Also added the Cooling fins which mounted later in the season.
CSP + F2004 DLC requiered to work.

Also the wet physics are enabled in unpacked data folder for those who have lastest preview with rain. Enable it by renaming original data.acd to data.bak. And please don't delete original data.acd!!!

Please delete unpacked data folder if you don't have lastest patch.

Rd doesn't have anything automated that checks if mods uploaded are rips, it's based on users' reports. I guess no one reported this one

Yeah, I know - but users seem pretty efficient about reporting suspicious content over there and its provenance was questioned quite early. Things like this usually vanish quite quickly. Or they used to do, anyway.
 
There is something to clear.
I found everywhere people posting about the Suzuki Escudo pikes peak as this car
(Image) but in reality it is the Suzuki Aerio pikes peak, lighter and more agile but btw it is not the 1998 Escudo gran Vitara and it seems no one is aware of.

hi guys,
there's this Mini Clubman mod that i love (Mini Cooper Clubman by Wack updated by Assettoland for AC v1.14.3)
it's quite immersive in vr , stunning i'd say...
but it does not come with a digital instruments.ini file, and I tried creating one, but failed to get anywhere...

If someone be willing to create a digital instruments.ini file for it and share it here? (just the GEAR indicator would do)
I would be forever gratefull. :)
 
@Gregz0r made a nice cams and season updates to Zwiss conversion of Adelaide Street Circuit, but track seems to be outdated and miss EXT-config and VAO patch. Maybe someone make them before? Because searching in thread didn't get something. :(
