I just tried both tracks - it appears that the pit lane isn't configured properly on either of them - plenty of cars crashing into each other while in the pits. Can somebody please check... ?

Amaroo Park Raceway was a 1.9 kilometres (1.2 mi) motor racing circuit located in Annangrove, New South Wales, in the present-day western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Opened in 1967. It was closed in 1998.
The name Amaroo comes from the Aboriginal word meaning beautiful place. (wikipedia)

Thanks for checking! I just tested all the latest downloads, and still don't have working pit functions at Adelaide or Detroit. All the others are fine "out of the box" . Weird... must be something strange going on at my end. It's an easy fix, so I'll just take care of it here... No way you can possibly account for variations on every PC on the planet. Thanks very much for bringing all these older tracks back to life for us!

The recent moaning about mods where people take free time to get stuff in the game fails to realise that if they weren't converting this stuff most of the little added config flourishes etc would not be able to happen.

I think this shows why Assetto Corsa has remained so popular for so long is simply that it is so many things for so many people, not just a racing game. Modding for some, creating for some, tracks or cars, physics for those that are interested in that aspect and awesome photography pics for the shutterbugs. The one thing we all share is an enthusiasm for motorsport and this game allows us to explore those interests and combine them with the opportunity most of us could only fantasize about actually doing.

Thanks for the tip. I turned off the "new AI behavior" and the problem persists. Again, no worries, I'll just try to squash my local Gremlins myself

Fairly well. Still working on it but have managed to get all 4 body shells/front splitter to change via CSP.

I think i'm going to be pushing out an update for my Sergio Loro's Watkins Glen skin soon. Need to do some comparisons between old and new to make sure I like it. Tried to find a mix between it looking like real life (more colorful and saturated) and looking sort of faded\vintage. The old skin was a little too blue\vintage looking for my liking, especially the grass. Also want to replace one of the tree textures I was never happy with. Got my eye on one that may work from an @RMi_wood track.

Always coming in with the sensible replies Kurt. This is exactly what I love about AC and all the mods. It's so many thing to so many people. I don't get why people moan that some want to just enjoy the way the game can look and want to just show off their photo skills. IMO that is the same as going to a car show and taking photos of cars they will never own but want to appreciate anyway.
I also don't get the need to have every available mod and then to moan about it because someone spent time making it look good but not drive well because they are only interested in how good it looks.
I love how diversive the community is and wish people would stop bloody moaning about every aspect of it and just enjoy it for how they enjoy it (I'm generalising here and not directing this at you of course)

that is partially but most of the part true. engine bays get alot of attention theses days while those people have problems putting ao onto cars. hell even ao is a feature nowadays. a street car isnt done without android system aswell it seems. but there 3 parts that get a good mod together, 3d, sounds and physics. and i guess there isnt an ultra guy managing all of it so mostly you need help to achieve all 3 parts in good fashion. maybe the community sees the day where a basic pipeline standart isnt a feature anymore.

great update but cars are not starting correct in a race from a standing start on the Silverstone track .They are slow and move to the right. Any ideas please.

Hey there folks, I was wondering if you could help me with a problem which can be summed up by the below image:

I'm looking at two Ford Escort RS Cosworth mods.

The first calls itself a 1992 model and can be found here: https://velosmodsworkshop.com.mx/ford.html

The second calls itself a 1996 model and can be found here: https://mega.nz/file/lJshRCyB#8mwQHplvhIGYxLJeUJjdDgdJETsvZrXuOSx01E73Vz0 (originally from Assettoland)

I was hoping anybody with experience could tell me which is better.

They're both clearly based on the same 3D model, and I wouldn't be surprised if the second one is based on the first one. The second one looks slightly nicer than the first one, and also for some reason offers two versions with different stated horsepower (216 and 223... both of which are wrong; it had 224). However, they at least get the weight correct: the 'Lux' version is slightly heavier because it had electric windows and A/C. Exciting stuff.

So let me know what you think.
