yeh you need to assign the hot key in CM to adjust the camera so you can move it anyway you like. up/down left/right tilt e.t.c this will sort the driver looking slightly to the left once adjusted

setting-assetto corsa-controls-patch and then find "onbaord camera small tweaks"

That worked pretty good, thanks! Needs a "roll" adjuster to go with the pitch and yaw though. Do you happen to know where the position for the first function-key-F1 driver position is saved, as it looks perfect (albeit with no steering wheel)? (lorelord: the in-game app (helmet icon) doesn't have a driver-focal-point adjustment)

i am really sorry but i have no idea, i am sure someone will be able to guide you in the right direction. glad it helped anyway there is nothing more annoying than the camera being wonky/out of position

I'm familiar with that app. It does NOT have a focal point adjuster. (The point out in front of the car that the drivers' eyes are fixed on. This app only allows forward/back, left/right and field of view.)

afternoon GTplanet is there anyway to "fix" these broken shadows on certain cars?. i have tried "update ambient shadows" in CM but it doesn't seem to do anything. thanks

The Corvette is pretty bad, none of the panel fit together...
If I was you I would delete it and forget it ever existed...

you are correct its not great by any means but there is no other car in that iteration that's available in assetto so i am waiting for one to be done. until then that one will do

I’m not sure if you take request, but would it be possible to make the wheel from the Kunos Lotus 98T available as a wheel replacement maybe too?
There are so many older single seater mods with terrible wheels, and this one wheel could be perfect for all of them.

I've been quiet on my mods for quite a while maybe 5 or 6 months?
I have some good and bad news.
Onto the bad news first.
Been redoing quite a bit of objects on the Countach both UV and mesh wise but theres an issue that is halting the update

The size of the FBX file has increased quite a lot. By this point the car is probably exceeding 1000k+ Polys.
This is something that i'm not too keen on having in the mod. Ill be trying to reduce this back to its original size as much as i can
without making the meshes look awkward....
Onto the good news
I've figured out how to properly boolean GT models. So this pretty much means any meshes which were incorrect should be fixed. Made some examples here:

So no more digging around parts bin models and finding what fits lol. The rims are finally the GT meshes that should have been on the original mod. The rear part near the exhaust also has proper see through holes now instead of bunch of black planes trying to convey illusion of holes.

Hopefully i won't go quiet again for some months with barley any progress...

Hi everyone, sorry it's been so long... Real life commitments have unfortunately taken precedence.
It's time I shared a decision that's taken me some time to make. I'm no longer making mods. This is partly because my free time has been hard to come by... Then when I've had some available time, I've had to waste it chasing DMCA takedown / removals because of 'people' illegally sharing my work (and Bens), or... Illegal ports of my work into other games... Not asking permission, not even giving due credit for my years of work, passing it off as their own.
So.... Unfortunately there will be no LA Canyons 1.4 update... The Colorado and Wyoming tracks I was considering are also cancelled / or at best on pause for another day.
I'd like to thank everyone for their fantastic support along my track making journey! Most of you have been amazing! If any modding work continues, I will have to email a select number of people personally and thank them with something.
As is usually the case, it's a shame 'The few have to spoil it for the many'

This time, I share something different: in addition to the traditional pack of JSONs, here is a new version of the 1967 F1 Custom Championship, with some modifications made by me. This is a redo of PrivateVaosOnly 1967 F1 Championship, with updated tracks, cars etc... I tried to stay as close to reality as possible, putting new updated mods (mainly tracks), in addition to complementing with other points that I thought would give more diversity and historicity to the grid. I choose 25% as race distance for most of the tracks (with exception being Spa and Nurburgring, which are close to 33%) - you can change this all other points at your own will, after all!

• A SURPRISE (DON´T EXPECT NOTHING FANCY)

A full list of changes is inside the ReadMe file, which is EXTREMELY important to be read, as it contains all the instructions to make the championship work correctly. Thanks to all contributors are there aswell.
Any tips and suggestions are welcomed - I expect to release another version of this championship soon, with some extras. It will be another option for it.
