Maybe one day we'll have a good version of present-day Jerez for AC... God I'm so jealous of the RF2 guys.

It looks much, much better than alexmeyer's cartoonish version.
Did you check the @Breathe track listings because there are a few Jerez circuit alternatives, if I well remember.
There is also a improvement for this AlexMeyer version at:

Yeah, I did. And it still looks terrible. Not matter how much you polish it, a turd is a turd lol

The AC Jerez is extremely dated and quite inaccurate. And that's me being diplomatic.

I've found that AMS2 is the place to go for a good version.
Shame AMS2 is so bloody big, 100 gigs and I use at most 15 cars lol

Check the RSS cars. They are perfect.

Yeah, it’s a shame the tracks specifically from AMS2 can’t be converted, as their historic versions of Interlagos, Silverstone & Barcelona ‘91, Jerez ‘88, Spa & Monza ‘93 are outstanding.

Does anyone know to which driver model these textures belong? I have tried every ASR driver model I have installed but it fits none of them, except for the face and suit.

Man, I recommend a lot of free time, a lot of practice and then you can make your own flawless version...
The good old 'if you don't do it you can't criticise it', yeah you're right I'll stick with cars and car skins - can't do it all eh ?

I recommend you learn how to use grassfx and rainfx as well, but I'm not arrogant enough for that - after all I can't mod tracks so it's not my place to comment on such matter :)

hello @RMi_wood The track is very good, and I think for me, the course bumps and sausage curbs are very good. For me, loading and exit the track takes a very long time. The rest, with more work if possible, is a very nice track for a race or track day.

great track, I like it, just one thing, for some reason when I want to race against other cars, the cars dont start the race, just remain still, is there some setting to change? (running with CSP0.2.2) thank you in advance

Did you restart the race? It happens often in many tracks, but most of the times the problem is solved after you ve restarted the session.

I found an invisible step in the middle of the road in the JCRR stage "Muracciole-Vezzani", that collides with the front of the car (at least with Ford Focus WRC 2004 and Ford Escort Cosworth Gr.A "Malbrun" from kronos).
It happens to me since I updated the CSP some time ago. I would like to know if there's someone else that has experienced this too and if there's a known solution.

Question and Answer

To avoid confusion; should we understand that this superb mod is the real-data-based improvement of your equally superb "lotus_23_cosworth" originally marked (or at least, that's how I have it on my hard drive) as version 1.6, from 1962 and with the sound borrowed from the Lotus 25?
A little clarity. Yes, everything is very confusing with my Lotus 23 models/versions, I'll try to clarify the situation.
Initially, I made exactly the model/version from today's post, although it was then called the Lotus Type 23 Cosworth (now it's the Lotus Type 23 Cosworth Mk XII)

Initially, it was the only car I focused on, and I tried to make it as close as possible to the specifications presented on the website. Then I saw a video on YouTube about a version with a modern aero package for hill climbing, so I made one. Then a version with a less powerful engine (than the main version) appeared, and then one with a more powerful one. But honestly, they didn't receive all the attention from me, and their main purpose was to serve as grid fillers for various car packs/sets.
Ultimately, the main car is the Lotus Type 23 Cosworth Mk XII (which was originally there, though it had a slightly different name). The other versions were, so to speak, grid fillers, and I ultimately abandoned them. Naturally, you can use any models and versions you like. But I would recommend you use the latest Lotus Type 23 Cosworth Mk XII. In my opinion, it's a significant improvement in the car's handling on the track compared to previous versions.
P.S. Just don't enable advanced physics for this car.

Here's some fixes to get vn_motorland aragon fully functional. Looks to be an RFactor 2 conversion. I was trying to find a way to contact @neil shaw but it seems like his messaging link here is blocked. If he or anyone has a problem with this, I will take it down.

-fictional drs
-ai for gp, motogp, speed reworked
-new ai hints (or removed), sidelines, and pitlanes
-basic rainfx
-UI outlines, maps, geotags
-ideal_line.ai added
-simple cameras reworked
-crew flipped sides
-condensed vao files

It was pointed out to me that there is a hole to the left of pit entry, but that's beyond my paygrade to fix. I also had a problem with previous versions of CSP with the Speed layout pit, but it seems resolved with latest. It could use graphical work, but I think it's fun to drive.

I suggest a clean install to avoid conflicts with ai and vao files.

And it's constantly a moving target with regards to physics and car feel. I can confirm, though, that the upcoming 1.6 preview for the tyre model (just the Stock Car Brasil 2024 and F1 car for now) does make a noticeable difference in the right direction. Still a ton of bugs, though.

Does anyone have a nice semi slick tyre texture for smaller diameter wheels? Something Yokohama or Dunlop would be ideal...
