Track has been updated to version 3.2. Use the link in the quote to get the update. It is probably best to delete your existing version of the track or back it up somewhere safe in case you need one of the old files for some reason.

All credit for the update goes to @shi for fixing a problem i've been trying to fix ever since I start editing the track.

Changes:

-- Fixed the blocky look for all of the curved sections of the yellow road lines. They should now look like proper curved lines.

Forgot to set @shi 's missing double sided tree fix active in the ext_config file. Download the attached file and overwrite the existing config. It's for my recent Lime Rock Mountain update. The full track update already has this file included.

Did GUERILLA Mods every release a 1.0 of the GT4 cars.
If yes where can it be found.
It's not on their forum.

No the 1.0 GT4 cars have not been released, Much like most of Guerilla has grinded to an halt atm, They are still working on BOP and Physics according to people in their circle. Graphical upgrades are completed but its the BOP and physics that is holding it back from being released.

When i de activate New Flames i got them back

They both work for me - I only kept the one with the best AI and can't remember which it is though

Ever heard of Richard Burns Rally, GPL, GTR2 and many others, i bet yes? These games are not known for thier good graphics... and Assetto Corsa means Racing Setup its focused on Physic's and pretty graphics are always a nice to have thing, but for me is a beautiful physics always come before graphics, what do I want with a GT7 model if it drives like a block? Absolutely nothing.
Thats why the above named games exist until today, they're fun and very realistic, regardless of whether it's 2024.
Dallara SP1 here in the game, free with good physics for free? Wow, bring it on, I'll take 10, regardless of whether the model is older, that's my opinion and it's not set in stone.

For me it goes like that in AC:
  • pretty graphics but drives like 💩 -> deleted
  • good physics but really looks like 💩 -> deleted

The only exception are cars that are for some reason particularly important to me, and have no good mods at all.

Has anyone else ran into problems with Zandvoort with Pyyer's 2024 F1 extension where the AI will eliminate themselves sometimes in a group or individually at the bowl turn, turn 4 I believe it is? After 20 or more attempts I finally finished the race in the VRC Formula 2024 by just falling back to last at the start and letting them pile up there and making my way through the carnage. But this shouldn't happen.

Thanks for these. Not tried the others yet, but the Calibra's dashboard Alcantara is weirdly scaled. Seems the detailUVMultiplier should be around 6 for it to start looking normal.

For me, the modelling is the one thing you can’t change(easily, if at all) once it's released. Assuming it isn’t encrypted, you can change the physics and sounds of a mod if they aren’t to your liking.
If the 3D modelling is poor, then there’s not much you can with that.

Particularly with formula cars, they have to pass the immediate ‘eye’ test(for me) first.

Take the F1 2003-2006 mods from TRP.
They immediately look ‘off’ whilst they have their front tyres set with the wrong camber.
I can’t see past that, no matter how good or not they may sound or drive.

After two weeks without playing AC (except installing a few new mods), this weekend, when I've got the mood to test some new cars and tracks, this happened every time a race started to load.

No matter what car or track (tried with Kunos car/track combo as well), always the same Race cancelled window.

This is what I have set.

Any idea of what is wrong, and how can I fix this?
Spent all weekend searching for online tips, but with no success.

Hey Masscot, I have the same issue with Kunos BMW E30 M3 (including the drift and S1 version), do you have any tips how I can fix it?

Bit trickier this one because the fritting is part of the entire windscreen DDS rather than a separate wrapped texture, but Kunos did indeed use a perfectly square checkerboard pattern.
I've 'rounded off' each of the five billion (est.) fritting dots as much as possible without increasing the resolution of the DDS. Remove the .txt suffix and try plopping the attached DDS into a skin folder (I used the basic BMW M3 E30 as the base but I imagine the other Kunos E30 M3s that use fritting also use this same texture?). If you're confident it works you can put it in all skin folders or do a one-hit texture replacement to the kn5 in CM Showroom.

Can I suggest you try disabling all apps (most likely python but also possibly Lua) and then, if that cures it, add back one at a time?

Is there no other error messages other than Race Cancelled? Have you restarted Steam / your PC?
