Good job mate! I can relate, it is not all about cars haha. So many helmet models to be created for AC. Would love a good example of an late eighties early nineties Arai (Mansell era).
Does someone know if it's possible to force interior car sound same as the exterior with config file for exemple ?
With some cars I love exterior sound but I hate sound into the car ...
Thanks, but I want to do it only for some cars ...
I think 4x MSAA alone is the way to go. TAA gives ghosting, and FXAA brings blurriness.TAA is a must in AC. So keep that enabled (despite I don´t like the ghosting effect it causes). Set extra sharpness slider to 0%. I have FXAA 3.11 enabled next to it (Graphic Adjustments). IMO this combo gives the best visual rendering in AC. Don´t enable AMD FidelityFX.
This is just an idea. I haven't tried it, so make backups first. Thanks, but I want to do it only for some cars ...
Is it just me that finds turning on ExtraFX to use TAA costs a lot in terms of GPU load? (even with the 'sub-categories' within it largely disabled, it adds ~20-30% to my 3080's loading!)I think 4x MSAA alone is the way to go. TAA gives ghosting, and FXAA brings blurriness.
Yes, I noticed this too. But I usually do laps alone or at most with 3 or 4 friends, the heaviness of the extra fx is noticeable but even with very high settings I can maintain 60fps. In AI or large grid races I turn it off.Is it just me that finds turning on ExtraFX to use TAA costs a lot in terms of GPU load? It's release Friday!
This time with my second A to B track Rally Kenya.
This 3D-track was made for rF by XXX Simulations Edition. It was converted by Smods to Assetto Corsa. Rainmaker did a overhaul of the track in 2024.
Features:
-competitive AI
-working track map
-support for hot lap mode
-replay cameras by DaBaeda
-3 car spots, only start no pit lane
-RainFX, GrassFX, water shader
-vao patch
-night lights
Known issue:
-the AI brakes before the finish line, it's the same for the Kunos' track Trento-Bondone, so it seems it is a AC bug
-for races you can reduce the dirt in the surfaces.ini "[SURFACE_0]" and set DIRT_ADDITIVE=0.175

Absolutely perfect! You have no idea how much I appreciate this.Hah! That was actually my first thought, and then I talked myself out of it
Let's fix that. Like a really, really dark green? OK.
Took the opportunity to move the A/T ENGINEERING logos, and reduce the size of the bonnet (hood) number.

Your reference to Chicago, Vegas, Tokyo, et al confuse me. Are you looking for more city street circuits? Or are you just looking for a NYC circuit?Anyone know of a circuit free or paid that's similar to the New York one from Gran Turismo 4 or Forza Motorsport 2? Preferably with Time's Square included?
So far I have Chicago, Las Vegas, Tokyo Route R246, Macau, London and San Francisco but the last 2 have bugged AI.
Yes, memories are great to have. I have been racing for fifty years. Here are some of the cars I've owned (and one I still race, Radical SR3). Also, the one I learned to race in at Jim Rusell Racing School at ST Jovite (Lotus 51b).Memories are powerful
Not perfect. One photo will always involve some guesswork and creative license.
Included a skin-specific ext_config.ini to hide a bunch of bumper/indicator/exhaust stuff that had no business being there
Should drag and drop in CM, but as always, I suggest by hand.
Have fun

Please can you let me know what mod is this?Pretty incredible what you can do in the CM showroom. I do renders in blender but this is pretty darn good.

Take a look at this video. You can see almost all of it.Does anyone happen to have any reference photos of the T400R? Specifically the interior, door side area and door hinge side area. I am referring to the area circled in red, both from the inside and the outside. I know this is too specific but if anyone has any reference, even if it's small, it would really help me. I only found one reference in a video where the door is open but it covers the hinge area and is only external. 😢
All my cars are free and I'm constantly bringing new cars into game and always for free. Its my Passion. Are you planning to release for free when ready, or only release them when they get leaked, like all these you posted today for free?
Thanks for sharing, tho.
any chance for the new link for the Volvo 242 please ?
A NYC circuit but i'm open to more street ones aswell as long as they are based on real cities.Your reference to Chicago, Vegas, Tokyo, et al confuse me. Are you looking for more city street circuits? Or are you just looking for a NYC circuit?
A nice selection of real world race cars.Yes, memories are great to have. I have been racing for fifty years. Here are some of the cars I've owned (and one I still race, Radical SR3). Also, the one I learned to race in at Jim Rusell Racing School at ST Jovite (Lotus 51b).
Not sure obviously in this case, but if you take a triumph spitfire or any car and put race suspension on it and change a myriad of other things it is not really a triumph spitfire, or certainly not the road one. I'm never sure why so many people struggle with that concept.A nice selection of real world race cars.
What was with the Spitfire?
Here in the UK when i did my city and Guilds auto tech course in the 70,s all schools had one of the chassis to teach basic tech.
If i recall, the only thing it did well was the tightest turning circle ever and it had a basic swing back axle.
How on earth did you make that work?
I was today years old when I learnt this. Gracious.it had a basic swing back axle
