Hello, Have to ask. Is there any easy to follow guide on how to make an car into AC?
Been reading the pdf from Kunos themselves and following the guide on the forum but i'm hitting an brick wall everywhere due to just basic stupidity. Easier for me to follow along someone doing it than sit and read text :confused:

Hi gents,
Until now, Australians were lucky to drive this little speedster, but now she has returned to the nest. Here is THE 147 TS LHD for South America and Europe:

THIS IS NOT MY MOD
The mod is from Simaothekid, AFAIK, a big thank you for the author(s)

Conversion to LHD with the great help of 3Dsimed, its the first time i do that and i was surprised how easy it was
New tyres
suspension.ini heavily modified
engine.ini
power.lut
Italian plates added
Others files in Data folder i cant remember
9 skins like IRL, only miss a second black
Drive safe and have fun, Mike.

Can you tell me what kind of skins these are and where I can get them? Thank you very much
They are skins for an imaginary racing team from Colorado.They will be included with the Opel GT race IRB car that I am updating from @carTOON 's Opel GT with his kind permission.Almost done with this version but as you can see it is fighting me.(or CSP is,who can tell)

So the flow state really exists

Forgive me if this isn't in the rules, but it's not my Patreon, I'm just interested in the result, but NPanic (maker of the amazing Ferrari P2 mod on Overtake) and team are looking for votes on the next project after the Marguek42-modelled Abarth that @Pasta2000 showed a couple of pages back:

If you sign up (with a paid account), vote Healey SR!

Tried for way too long to vote here😆.

Also, pay-to-vote, he might want to open it to free subs?

Okay

the skins are set for asr_driver_helmet

BUT

the driver model in the data file is set to an SD helmet driver 3d model

that is the issue

[MODEL]
NAME=Driver_SimDream_1993
POSITION=0,0,0

should be

[MODEL]
NAME=asr_driver_9x
POSITION=0,0,0

Over here it goes on the same, even changing the driver model at the config file.

🤔

You're missing the recent Meadowdale 1963 WIP https://www.overtake.gg/threads/meadowdale-raceway-1963.271559/, that is going to be amazing once it gets some work done. The road feeling is great, it's a technical one with lots of elevation changes, and the road and basic scenery are already perfect. It still lacks everything else lol. Worth it, again, to invite ohyeah2388 on the thread, his track so far seems to have gone off most people radar.

Definitely not off mine. I've been looking at his creations very closely. His tracks really give the same feeling that I get from Lilski and Johnr777's, about the qualité there could be no doubt.
I guess he's onto too many projects at the same time... he's just released the speed racer car

I know Ben O'Bro did pretty much everythink he could to make it as easy as possible HERE but on my side, The Kunos pdf has been a very valuable source too (and I can't stand video tutorials... to each it's own haha).

Wont have much time in the next weeks, but I would try to answer any question you may have in PM :cheers:

Nice, thanks for the preview, that is looking ace indeed. Fingers crossed that gets the detailing that the base track deserves.

Thank you for this, Some rather valuable stuff there.

Personally i find it easier to follow someone along got ADD so sitting and reading is hard for me cause i keep loosing focus and end up doing something else instead lol.

It's looking really good, much like Bridgehampton in looks. I could be wrong, but it appears you are running the track in reverse. All track diagrams I can find show the "Monza Wall" as the last turn leading onto the main straight with the pits on the left of the driver.

Hey, what is the best and most authentic looking and driving 928 GTS mod?

Found this. Anyone tried it?

I believe that's the one I tried, and found that it drives well, and has a nice interior, but the exterior is somewhat lacking, and the V8 sounds too much like a muscle car I think.

No, driving direction is OK, with Monza Wall as last turn and pîts on the left...

And the Alpine A210, don't forge the Alpine!

And why on hell would I vote for the Healey SR when there's a Sprite LM on the ballot? :lol:

There's another version of Meadowdale on Overtake, it might be worth to take a look if you're not aware of it already.
It's also a more complete track overall.

Terrific fun!Great track.AI was terrible.

EDIT... I just deleted the code in ai_hints.ini and replaced it with this bomb...(back yours up just in case)

[HINT_0]
START=0
END=1
VALUE=1.123

Now they go... :D

Going over another one of those early track skins I tried to make. This one wasn't that bad surprisingly, but it was done when I was using Sol. It needed a little brightness adjustment for Pure and my Pure filters\scripts. Plus the vao patches I tried to make were poorly done. There were still too many overly dark shadows.

Sergio really did a nice job with this track and I forgot how much I enjoy driving all three layouts. It's been a pretty long time since I turned laps on them.

WTH man? Make with a linky! :P

Yes. I made it. Just once. But a series of factors need to come together that are difficult to match in the same space and time, hence the difficulty of reaching that state of nirvana. Namely:

  • A very well-modded car.
  • A very well-AI'ed track.
  • A (ahem) bug-free CSP version...
  • (Important) One (or two) unfiltered Belgian Trappists (Only when sim driving, kids).
  • (Very important) That your esteemed couple is not at home and that their mobile phone does not have battery and/or coverage.

This is assuming we are offline. If we are online, the chances of reaching ecstasy are reduced to practically zero...

I'm running the game for fun on holidays, on my laptop. The road mesh seems pretty flat (can't be sure without a FFB wheel)?

Otherwise i am running the track backwards on my vid apparently :lol:.
