I love the fact that modders are unemployed, and when they get a job it's the end of the world.

I shall tell macron not to work too hard to reduce unemployement, we still need people in the moddin community.

Oh they read correctly, not just with the same words, something along the line of "Hey my car is free meaning I have no money to hire an attorney to sue ur *ss if you decide to pick elements of my car that I did not encrypt for you to easily unpack"

Ofc they would refuse the collab, why should they 50-50 the credit section and make the car free when you can just put it in patreon.

People abuse the good nature of mods and pick on individuals mostly because they know they don't risk much.


It feels like encrypting is a necessity now, although i'm not a fan of this option at all (which i why i don't use it on the 2008 mod), I still understand why people would use it today

Optimizing objects to help with performance? Who are you to ask that to someone who did game development. Optimization is for poor people, he's a sigma he just buy a better pc.


I'm not a pro, but when people asked me to help with performance of the 2012 mods, I started doing lods for all mods that needed it. I guess that's why i'm not a pro yet

It's a shame to see the likes of these go the same way of some others, taking other modders' content, tweaking it a little and then charging for it. I thought better or them than that.

You've done so much for my personal enjoyment of the game, with the Piper, DeTomaso and the Datsun that I will be sad to see you move on, but if it's because you've found new employment then I wish you all the best; your new employer has made a wise decision. Hopefully you can sneak that wide-body Datsun in too, but even if not thank you so much for all you have contributed.

You can´t get a reflective floor with CSP show up correctly. The best you may try is, just don´t use any showroom (no scene) and set the reflectiveness value to 100% and use "mirror" (scene tab in preview options). You eventually may switch off blurred mirror.

Better use one of shared presets here, IMO they look better than the stock previews.

apaft from reflective floor, you do notice the color difference of the skin?

I remember I left a good review for his (not only his) Portimao and then some of the next tracks he had posted have had very weird asphalt textures. I think it was Caldwell Park, Knockhill and Long Beach. I mentioned it and he answered in the same fashion. This guy is unbelievable! Shame you can not answer under his reaction to feedback. Leave him a 4/5 star review and he is offended somehow!

I have a strange issue with TM-Modding's fabulous Trabant P 601 RS (tmm_trabant_601) that's been driving me crazy for a while, and I wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem and/or might have an idea what's causing it. Looking straight ahead in cockpit view -- and only in cockpit view -- the frame for the driver's-side mirror is gone:

It's there when I look to the left:

It's there in Showroom and in all exterior views -- it disappears only when looking straight ahead in cockpit view. It happens with the stock, unmodified car folder, so it's not the result of a modification, and it happens with all of the skins. It doesn't happen with any other car. It also doesn't appear to be related to my CSP version (0.1.80p9) or any specific CSP setting, based on some testing done by others. I'm really at a loss.

Lmao from pictures alone an idiot can see that it's the exact same assets he made no effort to conceal it.

But whatever, kudos to mods to ask for more concrete proof before removing a product. Would loved if they cared that much on other resources like skins being removed due to unjustified request from ACR, i'll run a youtube tutorial on how to find out that this is from Ferrari Virtual Academy

I downloaded one of his tracks once and it was a bit subpar. Wondered why the reviews were so high and went to check'em. Noticed his responses to 4 star reviews and, just on that, decided to never downloaded any of his tracks again. His attitude is that bad.

On the other hand, it can be fun to sometimes check his tracks to see his meltdowns when someone leaves a minor critique (even if it's within a 5 star review).

@kakauiyt may I ask you something in relation to your 2010 / 2011 / 2012 mod?

All cars won´t show up the correct tyre skin when doing CSP previews.

The only solution which works is, disable the extension folder, create the preview and re-enable the extension folder afterwards. Your cars from the other eras like 2008 don´t have this issue since the tyre textures got a separate extension folder outside the cars´main folder. May I ask you for a fix for this for further updates or do I just miss something?

BTW, export from 3dsimed as a Autodesk FBX (click on Plugin Export), using the below settings, and import in Blender that way. It assigns textures and exports all the textures into a Texture folder as well, which helps with Kseditor as well.

(In case you didn't know this already, I find it helps cut the workflow down a bit.)

I have just followed the link you posted to the Datsun 2000 Sports 1968 Road Version. It's free, I am not a member of Patreon and I can download.
