4080 in vr no problem 90fps other versions of 3d trees drain way more fpsI generally shy away from 3D trees due to the performance hit.
How much of a GPU penalty are we talking for these? There are a lot of IRL trees around AMP.

Yes, it looks similar in the 2D Three Screen World... and the frame rate drops from 83 fps to 62 fps in my case, so I've binned it.This is how these TreeFX trees look for me in VR. Saturation and contrast are better than a lot of CSP trees I've used before, but they still look 'cartoony', almost cel-shaded, with weird scaling. Is this how they look on flat screens?...
... greatly improves the appearance to the original with 2D trees, although I'm waiting for the @racinjoe013 magic...... I added the following to the config to darken the grass, tarmac, and trees and bushes...
I got this track mixed up somehow.Where does one find the Reboot version?
Thank you for the reply! I can't believe I never noticed that haha. I maybe should have been more specific in my question, I'm curious how to force the AI to also run the spoiler instead of the wing. The Aero section in the setup allows you to choose between the two.
The confusion is understandable. Reboot Team was a reboot of the old Project Reboot, back when Jim Lloyd was involved in both before he was abducted by aliens on the way to buy a pint of milk one afternoon and vanished without trace.Aaaah, I see why I thought it was a Reboot Team.
The Rainmaker update folder says: Atlanta Motorsports Park 2014 (Reboot Team) fixing by Rainmaker.7z
Yes...the design (project) of the Berlineta Interlagos was created from an original French Alpine model.Hello, The rear of the Alpine is not the bresilian one but the prior model A 108 with a 850 cc engine from the Dauphine model.
It could be also interesting to get the A106 model which was the first real Alpine rally car with 4cv Renault parts. Thank for your job.
Feel free to give it a try.Kind of settled on this for the time being. I might throw it out there later tonight. It's tough for me to do track edits anymore because i'm on such an old CSP\Pure combo. Not sure how things will look for those using newer versions. Since this is nothing more than some shader adjustments, it should be easy for others to adjust on their own by changing a few numbers. All my changes will be in the config and labeled as to what they adjust.

I got all kinds of ideas for things that could be added just for kicks. I might get to that eventually.
Someone can help me please?Hi everyone, I'm having these little problems that are making the AC experience annoying. I'm hoping someone can help me solve them.
- I don't have the "Hide all app" button, neither in the right bar among all the other apps, nor by right-clicking the icon at the top, above the app list.
- When I go to the session replay during a session, there's no way to return to the race; I have to quit with the Windows key and return to the desktop.
- On some tracks, the turn-by-turn signs flash, and if there's a flag, they flash in the flag's color (yellow, blue, etc.).
Thanks a lot to anyone who can help me.
Save your setup using the name "ai_default" and the ai will use the same setup. The setup must be saved for each track though.Thank you for the reply! I can't believe I never noticed that haha. @Racer63 You might want to take a look on this from racingjoe063.Just throwing this out there for anyone to try. I did the same thing for Nords' ai that I did for Monza. I re-recorded the sidelines to get them off the kerbs to try and get past the start of the race without a giant pile up. It seems to work pretty good. I didn't really touch the original ai line so they should race about the same as they do with the stock ai, but hopefully without the carnage. Some day I may actually re-record the racing line but for now i'm just happy to be able to run an actual race.
I included the original fast_lane and ai_hints file so there's no worries about reverting back to stock. You would just need to rename two files. I also included two of my own hints files with some additions because for some reason some of the modern GT3 car mods couldn't handle a few turns. If you find the ai still wrecks too much, try deleting the ai_hints file and rename ai_hints_alt to ai_hints.
I will admit that this wasn't thoroughly tested with all cars so your mileage may vary. I found it works great with the RSS GT cars and most GT3 cars even using a 95% +/- 5% aggression setting and i'm good with that. Even if I can only race the GT cars, i'm just happy to be able to race something. I was getting tired of driving solo laps all the time.

@ninezeroniner This is actually a font called "graystroke" a simple google search will bring up lots of free font sites from which you can download. Thanks!
Sadly in the end the download link sends me somewhere else, I'll try to dig more.
There's Universal Number Plate Template (GIMP) 2.3.20240203.01 (I don't remember whether this one is the latest or not), otherwise if you have ACC, use UE Viewer and export data like this: UmodelExport\cars\common\assets\numberplate. You will have both numberplate and numbers textures. Otherwise the font should be "GRAYSTROKE".
For tracks where Turn 1 is close to the Start/Finish line, there's a little trick.
AC detects the Start/Finish line using AC_TIME_0_L/R.
When creating the AI line, place AC_TIME_0_L/R slightly away from Turn 1.
Then create the AI line.
After that, place AC_TIME_0_L/R back in its original position.
This ensures the timer starts at the intended location.
This explains why rabbit_field_timing.kn5 is in the Track folder.
I'm attaching rabbit_field_timing.kn5, slightly offset from Turn1.
Improvements to the AI are welcome. I'm not a very good driver, so I can't create a fast AI at this time.
Avid user of the Universal Number Plate Template, it doesn't have this plate though. There's Universal Number Plate Template (GIMP) 2.3.20240203.01 (I don't remember whether this one is the latest or not), otherwise if you have ACC, use UE Viewer and export data like this: UmodelExport\cars\common\assets\numberplate. 2ReBOT? AI gone wild.
Yeah I knew about this already. But I don't know what you are missing with the old logic vs. "new" logic.TRIPLE SCREEN FIX: install 0.3.0-preview140, In CM go to Settings -> DXGI -> Select "Old window creating logic
