Can someone please help me? I've had this issue for months and I've tried fixing it, but nothing works. I think it's adaptive clip plane that causing the problem. I've been getting this bug in Laguna and Monza and others.

Are you using CMRT broadcast app ? Mine was similar with messed up trees too and as soon as i deleted it the issue went . Appearently it renders things twice.

It worked! Hecks going on with CMRT? Regardless I don't even use it anymore. Thank you!
You only have too remove CMRT broadcast app , CMRT was fine alone on miine still.

As someone who only plays Assetto Corsa (and by "playing" I mean hoarding new mods, testing them, adjusting them to my liking, keeping them updated, doing short races from time to time, trying to solve yet another Pure or CSP problem.... and I never have enough hours in the day for all of it...), when these questions about new games and such come up, I have the same doubt: do people really have enough time to play more games, really...? 😵‍💫
I feel your pain brother. I now have about 115 folders worth of mods I've yet to install AND I still don't have enough time to just drive!

... I now understand why some people in here sit an look at tracks with an microscope...

Does anybody know where I can find all of MPG's mods? His Patreon link brings me to his personal page, not his creator page. Also, various mods I have downloaded (though various third-party sources) have an invalid Discord invite.
He quit modding and removed all of his mod the same day :guilty:

So you set the values in Pure Planner - settings - weather presets?
And you save them there? And then if you select a weather in a weather slot, the values are not the saved ones?
Btw, if you set the weather presets, they will not change your values in an existing weather slot.
The preset values will be taken, if you change a weather in a slot. Those are the initial values for a selected weather...
Thanks @Peter Boese.

To clarify, this is how I normally select the weather for a race or hotlap session:
Start the session
Open the Pure Planner
Select 'Day' at the top (which is normally the default)
Click on the 'weather type' icon in the main window, which opens the side-menu of all selectable weather icons
Click the one I want to use, eg Broken Clouds
Click 'Data' at the top, to open the editable parameters
Move the 'Rain Probability' slider to zero
Click 'SAVE' on the Pure Config home screen.
Start the session.

That works for that session, but next time I load AC the 'Rain Probability' for Broken Clouds will be back 10% (or whatever it defaults to).

So my question remains: how can I permanently edit the weather parameters so that Rain Probability is always ZERO for what should ostensibly be 'dry' weathers, to avoid any chance whatsoever of any rain interrupting the session?
If I wanted rain to appear during a session I'd set one of the rain weathers to appear in a timed plan.
I don't want Pure to randomly decide to inject rain into a session that has been set up entirely to use dry weather. It wouldn't be so bad if a few spots of rain didn't instantly turn the track into a flooded ice rink with AI cars skidding off all over the place, but that's another discussion for another time about RainFX and its ridiculous wet weather grip values.

Did you ever open Pure Planner settings - weather presets? Maybe you still have older settings there. Please reset them. Weather like Broken clouds should have 0 also at the probability there:

I know some people like when I do this, so I thought i'd share the next track i'm adding it to. Donington Park has got a seasonal trees update. It's done for the most part, but I need to work out some things. Winter is a little too bright and spring may be a bit too dark. Plus I want to make winter a little less white so some brown shows through on the trees.

Any track in PMR that you can find in pCars 1 or 2 is from pCars. Any track you can’t find in pCars is brand new and not made from reused pCars assets. The same goes for the cars as well.

Also I heard somewhere in the PMR discussion the past few days that some of the car models in PMR were purchased from RSS like the Lister Storm.

Not super important but I’m curious if anyone here knew whether that was true or not.

FYI: VRC's made a few more of their cars free:

Formula Beta 2008 - Powered by a 4L V8 engine and sporting downforce levels only seen in the top tiers of open wheel motorsport, the Formula Beta 2008 offers the perfect seat for young, aspiring drivers to present their talent to a worldwide audience. The car has been designed to be a class leader in promoting racing, the show and, most importantly, safety; while keeping the costs of entering such a prodigious series attractive to new teams and current teams alike.

Formula Alpha 2022 - VRC proudly presents the Formula Alpha 2022, our most ambitious project so far: Around 1000hp, with 160hp coming from an electric powertrain, a 719kg car weight, and plenty of downforce round out this machine as a track beast. Open wheel powered machines haven't used ground effect in about 40 years to slow cars down and make racing safer. It now appears to be the solution to making track racing more thrilling again.

No only the ones from RSS' GT Legends Pack, not the Classic Endurance cars. And regarding the source: It is not trust me bro, it is all available on overtake and the RSS Discord, so you can quit being funny.
Might well be true, but you just saying it's true, without any information about where you have this information from, is pretty much useless to the rest of us.

If your only source reference is that the information is "available on overtake and rss discord", it's still useless for me. That's about the same as saying "it's true, just look it up in a library". If we knew exactly where to look it up for proper verification, we wouldn't need you saying "it's true".

So if your reference is somewhere on overtake and the rss discord, I need the specific links and quotes to confirm it, because those two are huge, disorganised sources of information.

Apparently there is loads of stuff deep within PMR from PCars2. Built from the ground up apprently though. Truth is closer to they have been re selling Shift 2 for years now.
Having said all of that the market is consoles, i've been out of touch with consoles and enjoying all the stuff on PC, I didn't realise how stark proper driving games were over there.
It also runs better on consoles which further leads me to think the PC market isn't what they were going for, i mean why would you, far far more on consoles, would make no business sense to go for PC market.

Also anyone ever buy that 'pista' racing on steam? Hows that going these days? Was that a scam?

I bought it. Its still being developed, but the team is very small and are themselves racing drivers, as far as I understand, so I think their time is limited. Last I tried it, its not the worst, everything needs some polish and optimization and graphics are a bit dull and lacking details around the tracks but its a solid base. They've added some cars and tracks since launch. I wouldn't call it a scam.

There's actual information to be found on Overtake?
I thought it was just where people with advertising fetishes go to masturbate.
