ASSETTO CORSA section in settings IS AC settings but thru CM.I do use CM but I've never seen that page before or if I have it's been so long ago I don't remember it. I thought the FFB settings were controlled within the game itself. When I got this PC I remember going into the game itself to do FFB settings.
The problem I'm having is that a few days ago AC was being praised for having just the greatest FFB of any game and I thought "Really??" then I must be missing something. Because for me out of the now 6 games I have I would put AC at the bottom. It's just so neutral and numb. I run over curbs and I barely hear them or feel them. Every track feels buttery smooth. Yes you get the up and down undulations of the bumps but there's no road texture feel. Maybe there isn't supposed to be, I don't know. That got me to maybe trying to look at the game settings in case I'm missing something.
This is what my page looks like which kind of looks like yours

It's not the settings (I use the same as yours!), it's the cars & tracks.I do use CM but I've never seen that page before or if I have it's been so long ago I don't remember it. Maybe you set the quality settings to very high in Pure Config?@Peter Boese Yesterday I was just hotlapping the Nordschleife and enabled Fog. My FPS immediately went down from 157FPS (capped) to 60/70FPS. Even when I enabled Heavy Rain my FPS was around 130/140FPS. But Fog is hammering on my FPS.
Any idea why? I'm running triple 32" 1440p monitors (7680x1440) with a 9800x3D, RTX 5090 and 64GB DDR5.
Using PureLinear with latest CSP (preview) and Pure.
CPU usage was around 30% and GPU usage around 70%.
I presume I have it set to very high because i thought that applied to Pure in general. And if the best CPU there is right now, can’t handle this… what can? 😉Maybe you set the quality settings to very high in Pure Config?

Those quality settings are just there for the groundfog shader, because this is very very CPU and GPU hungry in very high settings!
If you set this, please just set it to medium...
Hi. Any updates on this feature? It is overexposed on my system to. This slider does nothing for me.
I never noticed those shimmers in AMS2 ... what I did notice and ruins AMS2 for me is the drivers dissapearing after too short a distance and no way to change that , making karting a no-go in AMS2 .. other then that its almost a perfect VR implementation
Copy/paste from AMs2 okt 2025 update:There are definitely still shortcomings, one of which you have highlighted. The addition recently of blur factory TAA might have helped with that although the overall image softening TAA method means I avoid it. But all things considered the performance in all conditions and with any number of cars is what makes AMS2 my choice for VR in our hypothetical best sim.
actually it is not in my space. Does it work in default weather script?Hi. Any updates on this feature? It is overexposed on my system to. This slider does nothing for me.
Actually the thinking "the best CPU" is not working for AC btw. AC just uses 2 cores and everything must be calculated on those. So it all depends on the CPU speed you use. But it is very limited for AC.I presume I have it set to very high because i thought that applied to Pure in general. And if the best CPU there is right now, can’t handle this… what can? 😉
Will try the medium setting!
ok. thanks for looking in to it. probably csp or pp bug. it did not change when selected default weather controller. but it was ok when choosing default weather style.actually it is not in my space. Does it work in default weather script?

Now that you mention overexposure; ever since I updated CSP and switched to Pure, the background images I see while the game is loading look really overexposed, and I have no idea what's causing it...Hi. Any updates on this feature? It is overexposed on my system to. This slider does nothing for me.
Strange bugs. Background images are fine for me. Photo mode i use not very often, but it was ok some time back. Now that you mention overexposure; ever since I updated CSP and switched to Pure, the background images I see while the game is loading look really overexposed, and I have no idea what's causing it...
Another thing that's gone wrong with the update is the "Photo Mode" application; with so many filters and adjustments it's hard to get the same look I have on screen while playing, and sometimes it does weird things, like misaligning the image... I guess I'll just have to get used to it.
anyone tried their other cars? are they good as well?Excellent car with totally insane details. It's free from real specs. https://www.patreon.com/posts/143613469View attachment 1497690View attachment 1497691View attachment 1497689 View attachment 1497692
That's a lot better. Thanks for that. I kept wondering why every recommended setting had all of the effects at 0. I drove Road Atlanta this past April in a Lexus LC500 and you could hear the tires on the pavement and feel the surface through the wheel as it turned through each corner. It wasn't numb and you just felt the pull like you're stretching a think rubber band. And that was in a road car.ASSETTO CORSA section in settings IS AC settings but thru CM.
Also everything at 0% yeah, its going to be buttery smooth, here's my setting

Their cars are fine, Nothing to write home about personally. Their 348 however isn't something i'll recommend.anyone tried their other cars? are they good as well?
Which CSP version did you have?Could use some help here. I've been having a problem with Fat-Alfie's Battenbergring track where every time I bump into the hay bales that are in the first hairpin section of the track. My graphics driver taps out and the game crashes. This is the only part of the track where this happens and it never happens anywhere else. The CM error screen shows this.

I'm on 0.3.0-preview140. It runs fine outside of this problem though. The error.txt in my crash folder says "Which CSP version did you have?
Did you tried downgrade CSP? Just to see if it's an isolate case of CSP itself? I had a similar issue with an older version which was causing crash whenever i was hitting rails, haybals or anything around the track. Solved by updating CSP versionI'm on 0.3.0-preview140. Everything seems to work fine with no crashes when I downgrade to 2.11. It's just strange that it seems to be only one track with this issue as I tested it with other tracks like Fonteny, Feldbergring and Deutschlandring with no crashesDid you tried downgrade CSP?
