Conversion from F1 Challenge.

-CSP recommended
-7 layouts (Yearly billboards and building variations)
-36 pit/start

Known Issues;
At the start of the race, the four cars from the last row move to the pits.

CSP Settings→General Patch Settings→Physics experiments→Fix missing or misplaced spawn points

This fantasy track was made by Edoardo Bottin (edobot) for rFactor in 2012. It was converted to Assetto Corsa by Rainmaker.

Most of the race cars will have the power outputs of the engines with the Intake Restrictors removed, which means the F1 GTR will have over 1000, F50 GT 900+, CLK GTR GT1 800+ .etc though they will be balanced with the road versions of the same car if it's in A Class. Ex. The CLK GTR GT1 handles very well but is slower on faster tracks against the SuperSport.

B Class will have a few GT3 and early GT2 cars included in it's class for more variety.

Preview of the new sound for the CLK GTR GT1, it still needs a few tweaks and is kind of a place holder at the moment. Since it's hard to really find a clear external exhaust sound for the car it uses an edited GT2 sound since it's tone is actually kind of close the the GT1 version.


C Class is pretty much finished for now though there's a few cars I will add to it later, I will release that class later today; with B and A Class hopefully by Friday. Since they both are roughly around 90% complete.
 
Hi, when installing mods via CM, I get this error: "acvideomods.ddl"
What does it mean, and how do I fix it? Thanks a lot. 🙏

Can someone tell me why I need to close CM and re-open in order to see a car that has been "clean" installed?

Before it wasn't the case, the car would immediately re-appear in Content right after having been installed again...
Since a couple of months (after an update of CM? idk exactly) I need to close CM and re-open to see the car again in Content tab.
I hope it's just a setting somewhere which I can set correct again... ?

It is a pain , esp. since starting CM freezes Windows for about 30 seconds ( if you have +7000 car mods installed that is ) ...

C Class part 1 has been released, this class took quite awhile to get balanced but I finally feel it's balanced enough to give competitive races especially on the harder difficulties. (A Class is impossible to get anything better than third for me so for those that like challenges it'll be very hard on 100%)

Is there a way to remove stuff from the goodyear skin on the GUE Brabham BT63 GT2? if i remove what is already done it strips all the blue off the body. Which means i need to do the skin from scratch if i want to remove the plates and re do them which i dont want to do its already done. I cannot do a layer underneath the main skin or anything. What am i missing?. All i can do is add to it not remove.

Is there any mod that improves the damage on the Formula RSS cars? Like, on the 1990 mod, Nigel Mansel clips a wall, flips several times, and all that happens is a bit of oil goes onto the road, not even a single scratch.

I tried this last night. The first thing I noticed was a performance drop which took me below 60fps.
Enabled the app, didn't see much difference but ultimately uninstalled due to my pc clinging on the life support at the best of times.
Interested to hear if this app is worth it as I mostly play offline.

Likely the app overloads the display frequency and produces frame drops. 60 Hz gives you 1/60 => 16ms to do all AC app computations between two frames, 144 Hz lets you 7ms. If you are above, the graphic engine is waiting for your results before displaying the next frame. (AC physics is at 300Mhz and is a different process iirc)

Also apparently it was written by AI coding, so makes sense why it doesn't work or isn't optimized at all. The guy who put it together doesn't know what he's doing.

Um... Question, is anyone else's RSS Audi R8 LMS EVO II doing this at a distance? The interior display turning into a second sun?

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. You have to disable "distant lights glare" in here if anyone would like to know. Looks like that option is bugged right now. Probably a problem on other cars and I just don’t know yet.

I did try two rolling start versions, one even with a safety car! Strangely during the test phases it’s running mostly without any bugs, while in the middle of an DIY championship, it’s one big festival of failures. The complete race grid is driving at full speed, all car crashes at the start, one half of the starting grid is not moving, overtake of the safety car.

Hello, I'm the creator of said pile of dung 😆. Honestly, just trying anything to help push AC, it's my favorite Sim. Believe it or not ive spent a bunch of time getting this to where it is, which is apparentlyin the toilet lol. Obviously i didnt write the code but ive been testing and tinkering for a couple months at this point. Im guessing rolling start, strategy, and learning module didn't work for you? Did the core of it at least work though? Cars should be passing eachother, especially different classes.. any feedback would be appreciated. Im still going to try and push this thing forward.

Although it didn't work for me also, it's nice you are at least trying to solve the AI problem in the game. Don't listen to those who only complain and don't give any feedback, it's a known hobby to do that around here. If I were you, I would prioritize improving the optimization of the app first, because when trying it I went from like 250–300 fps to less than 60...
