I just checked on my PC and those links do indeed download .zip files... but they can't be opened; seems to be empty.

I'm no expert, but I suspect the links on the page you shared (Internet Archives) try to download the files directly from the original website where the original files were located, and since Velo removed them, the result is simply that they're unavailable... 😐

Same. Probably what Perico said above is correct. They are gone.
@Perico Lospa is probably right; there's no other explanation.
But the person who shared it on "reddit" says he uploaded the files to "internet archives" after downloading them from the blog before it disappeared...😓🤷‍♂️

They are there, However THE link you posted isn't the right one.

These are the only options to download it all, It's not possible to download them all individually due to how the .rar file is setup.

Gimme a week or more and i'll have it all uploaded to GTP's download section at some point. It's an pain in the ass to go trough this entire thing.

There are a lot of duplicates of the same car and some are just data files with no cars.

Thanks it’s working
Can you also give me a sample on how to remove from specific creator Youtube videos, like this from irritating mrBeast.
  • Sorry i can t really explain (not really the place ^^) because i use ublock origin and a raspberry as my own dns server with a block list for domains (more than 4 millions) but with Ublock Origin i've select all filter list possibily, i've nothing with Youtube videos.
  • Also, always for Youtube, on phone you can use Newpipe, and on tv (or android box) SmartTubeNext works very well. ;)

I tried it now, and it actually downloads the entire pack without any problems. But it's a huge inconvenience; I don't need the entire pack, just individual cars. Whose brilliant idea was it to use "internet archive"?!

The cars from 2000 and 2006 were the 3.2 liter straight-6 engined version. They got hammered by the Dick Barbour Porsche 993's in 2000.
Further to this these were not GTRs and yes in 2000 the car was called a M3 GT with the 3.2L 6 cyl. In 2006 to help compete with the 996 RSR they used a 3.4L 6 cylinder with a sequential gearbox. Still known as M3 GT.

Hello, I've been ripping cars that look relevant or are missing from this beautiful game, and with Ninja Ripper I was able to get the perfect geometry, but the texture mapping is messed up.

1: The 3 versions of the Renault Spider (normal, GT, and Trophy) from the Xbox game Apex Racing Evoluzione.

2: The first version of the TVR 7/12 project from the game Road to Fame.

This one only has the body and needs some work on the lights and bodywork.and the cars needs new uv map

I'm making them available for you to improve and add to this beautiful game.

Another update on BR Engineering BR1 mod for AC. The model is finally in the game, most of the animations are working such as doors, low and high downforce aero kits with dive planes, functional wiper, front and rear wing, and few other small things for visuals. I couldn't make brake duct tape working, so it's hidden for now. I'll be working on two BR1 digital displays and then AER engine sound. When displays will be done, I'll post it with cockpit shaders being finished as well. HD pictures link https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCVq13

Incredible work, Are you related to the SMP group? cause this is some incredible quality content just coming out of nowhere :D

New free lua app from Leghorn for calculating AI BOP that automatically creates presets for grids.

Could be a very useful and time-saving tool for anyone who has been looking to create BOP presets for their offline racing. Also has options to refine existing BOPs and for use in 'multiclass' sessions.

I've been looking for something like this for a while, so I'm pretty excited to try it out. I wonder if anyone else here has some experience using it?

It seems well done

Calculates laptimes, accross multiple sessions and tracks, keeps records... And add ballasts/restrictors accordingly. The logging system between tracks, cars and sessions is pretty neat.

Didn't see it influencing the AI via another way, but if it works, it's nice : the only flaw would be that it cannot make the cars faster, only slower, so if you're beating your AI by 2s it won't help (that you could probably do by ballasting/restricting your own car i believe).
But the pleasure of not bopping 6 car types manually and have it automated is a nice add.

For what it's advertised, it seems solid. The way they implemented the "self learning/saving stats" gave me dozen of ideas.. There's good stuffs to learn from it.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed or not but so people are aware in case your run a league. CSP preview 3.0 440 it seems something has happened to the physics where cars now will go 6 or so mph faster than if your on previous patches. this info was found while running some tests with my league at high speed ring in 2005 Lola B02 Indycars. Also it seems as the he broke the digital_panels.ini from I think 302 and up. It was one of the 300 ones. Anyway figure the physics issue is kinda a big deal as its making it pay to win if you have a server you cant lock to a set version.

CM update today, be wary before installing.

Broke a bunch of stuff, notably CTRL+clicking download links on subsequent track layouts (will now only open the link for the first layout in the list, no matter what) and power graphs on newly installed cars showing as blank (have to restart CM to get them to show).

That's just what I've found in ~15 minutes - there was some bugginess in fast-scrolling my track list as well.

Can't say I'm surprised at this point - it's been a really rough ride for Ilja and CSP the past year or so and the pain train just keeps on rollin'.

I thought it was a user setup problem until i saw the same stories for online, and confirmation it was randomly affecting offline as well, and discussed on the CSP discord

and

Bring it to Ilja on the discord thread, or contact him directly, it's hard to replicate this issue and you seem to have a replicable test condition. For us it was 3-4 secs slower in dry conditions with csp v0.3.445, but i noticed it offline as well, with no particular trigger i could pinpoint

Csp v2.11 seems unaffected

CSP fix build up tonight:

So far, no major problems reported. We'll see how that develops over the next few days. Only recurring one is not being able to view online race replays - which would be annoying for me, but not the end of the world.

And as an addendum, and an important one - there was a private, commissioned Igora Drive build leaked onto Overtake today, which was swiftly taken down.

I managed to grab it before its removal. It is made by SMP Racing, so you know it's going to be high quality - and upon first glance is very much is indeed. A significant step up over the Muvz version, which is middle-of-the-road. I'd say it's about at version 0.95ish in terms of completeness. Igora Drive is super fun in mid-speed machinery, and this one is the best version ever made, for sure.

It is still available if you look around - and has been shared on "certain forums" with a few links still active. Don't ask me, I won't share them - I'm just raising awareness.

No idea how litigious SMP might be about the leak (the irony of Russians being stern about copyright does not escape me), so I'd try to grab it while you can.

CSP car preview generation is still not giving proper results, and the drying lines on wet-to-dry track transitions are visible through humps in the road (might not be a new issue, but I have only just started seeing it).
