Hi,
I'm wondering if someone as already bought a mod on simvendor web site. i don't want to link because it is a commercial site.
There is mod from "authentic simulation" that is a modder that is known but the site seems shady
"All Authentic Simulation Assetto Corsa projects require ModLauncher."
On the mod i'm interested there is a mention of a modlaunche . I'm used to buy mods from VRC, RSS or URD and use them in content manager but never that "modlauncher"
is it legit site?
thanks

Yes i have used it. As far as i know its all legit. Its a bit of a pain having to launch the mod launcher each time you want to run the car but it works fine. I hope this helps.

Is it legit? It seems so, but if I were you I’d avoid it. First rule on the internet: never give access to your accounts to any service that isn’t trustworthy.

I would be somewhat interested in this "launcher" and the content delivey method.
Does the launcher contain the mod (is it simply a launch exe that bundles it inside, i guess it could simply be an extractable achive)?
Does it download the mod? Do you get the mod seperate but need this launcher?

As a security professional, I could be interested in what exactly is going on...

I've downloaded some content with a fake account just to test it. For some mods it just requires a login on that platform, for others (like cars) you need to install that launcher which should run alongside steam and will "install" the mod itself but on my laptop where i have installed a fake steam account without AC it didn't installed nothing even it says differently...

Just a heads up to anyone who is running a Pimax VR headset, Pimax's dynamic foveated rendering is now working with the latest Sboys3 driver. I tested it and only got a 5%ish performance gain on my 5090 at 51m pixels but it is supposed to give a better result on lesser GPUs. It is essentially a free performance gain though and anything is welcome.

Hi.
Performance and bugfix update for Nissan and Acura.
Lods were made by forum member @Moor1804.
Screenshot demonstrates race start at 2026 Daytona with 60 cars (30 Acura, 30 Nissan) and 0 performance loss.

... Performance and bugfix update for Nissan and Acura...
Thanks for the continuous improvement and, guess what...? Well, after installing this new version, the problems I was having with the external rearview mirrors on the Nissan Onroak have mysteriously disappeared. Now I can clearly see how everyone is overtaking me... Cherry on top of the cake! 🙂

Vast majority of BCRC track upgrades are in fact downgrades. Fantasy objects, misaligned textures, etc. He uses someone's work and not credit real authors (eg. Neil case). His cars follow the rule. He jumped on australian racing bandwagon and is making money as there is a lot of people interested even in medicore mods. His v8 Supercars are not worst but far from being decent. Cocpits are not in line with real life, cars don't feel like they have excessive power. They are too easy to drive. The only good thing is that their performance is similar to real life counterparts. For now its best to use v8corsa which are miles better. And as written already in February AMMT should release real current gen v8. Models look fantastic. Hope physics will be on par with great visuals.
He has also stolen and 'rebranded' my original scratch made Baskerville Raceway. It's pretty shameless when he even rewrites the author details to put his own name in there, completely unethical! At least I've now completely remastered that circuit professionally and put it on my Patreon, but you're right in that his 'efforts' are actually downgrades because I watched a livestream of him playing his ripped version of my original release and it looked unfathomably awful.

For anyone interested in a couple of great club circuits located in Australia, these two projects have been my literal blood sweat and tears for the past few years.

Everything BCRC has put up is stolen from other people, Physics, Skins, 3D models everything... All he does is encrypt others work slap his name in the author tag and calls it an day.

Dude is an Hackjob wankstain, All his GT3 cars uses physic's from RSS & Chemflummi. 3D models are from all over the place, Bonny, Whisteblower etc list goes on. Massive shame that he has any fans. Being brain dead seems to be an very common thing these days.

Lotus Type 23 Cosworth Mk XII v1.01
A minor update aimed primarily at predictability and some stability of the car during skidding/sliding. Other minor fixes.

Well. THAT was worth a sub, even in the catastrophe we call money here. Great job! 👏👏
Related: I thought V8 Supercars at Symmons was wild. Baskerville is even more mental.

After days of testing out crappy mods, one after other, and other, and other... trying to fix a little with my limited knowledge to make them minimally drivable, for only end up getting frustrated and finally hoarding them as gridfillers, to be back piloting gems like this Lotus, entering the curves skidding flat out, feeling like an average Colin Chapman, restores my hopes in Assetto Corsa... 🙂

Hello, hope some of you are able instructing me how to:

1. adjust T-cam for formula cars back and forth (more/less FOV) (Has to do with developer mode?). Some T-Cams are too close to my personal liking.
2. fix the annoying popping in and popping out of interior details as of a certain distance?
in replay F3 most cars (not all!) showcase this effect say with indicative distance ~100m car closes in and...all of a sudden...more detail. Then...when driving away...all of a sudden...less detail. What to adjust in CM or via AC ini files?

Thanks much in advance.

Got any videos of these? $12 isn't going to break the bank, but it'd be good to at least see them first.

Hi.
Annoying detail popping as You say is LOD switch to lower model. Play with related percentages in this section. Its pretty safe if You have decent GPU, but may cost some performance.
