In HTDM all snipers are 1 hit 1 kill. So it is more on how good do you aim and how fast do you shoot. drago is one of the best overall.

Not now, but will be later at like 9:40.
EDIT:
NVM, New south park at 9:30-10:30.

Oh i just kinda assumed that the skorpian was awful, I had no idea it was pretty good, i never use it.

And yeah, M40 with acog + stopping power + steady aim is great for no scoping. And, when you are scoping, you still have peripheral vision, and you dont have to hold L3 to hold your breath. AND, it is the weapon combo that benefits the most from Stopping power. One shot almost anywhere kills.

Fixed. ;)
Couldn't have said it better myself, though. 👍

I see a heap of sniper rifles with ACOG, but I can never get it to work for me. Besides, it's not as cool.

AND IM AT 3999 POSTS A PARTY IS COMMGNIGN!!

I finally got CoD4 back, so if you guys want to play add me: RabiaEx
I also have a new account but I will not be using until later: xCriiStaLmeth

I played yesterday from about 4:00PM to 10:30PM. I realized that not playing for so long isn't good.. I got into a match with the M40 + ACOG + Stopping Power + Steady Aim and I got something like 4/18. Then I started getting pretty good finally and my "no scoping" in Unreal Tournament II paid off I guess. :p I found no scoping SO much easier now.

Im not very good at no scoping, but im getting better. Would you wanna do some private matches to help me practice?? haha.

So when you are 'no scoping', what kind of distance(s) are we talking about?

Edit:
If you guys are playing TDMs, add me too please. I might get on. :)

What the...... You've got to be kidding me. I've never seen anything like it.

Really? Its not that hard when youre pretty close to someone. I dont know how he gets all those lonnnngggg shots. Thats crazy.

Aren't those just lucky shots?
Most likely yes.

Me and my friends have tried no-scoping using his technique in private matches many times before and it's pretty much down to luck. The strafing left and right just does not work. What tends to make things a little better is if you tap the left trigger to aim, but not look down the scope, to make the crosshairs come together. We seem to hit each other more often, but it may still be down to luck.

No scoping isn't all luck. It's more skill actually. Ask wrcti, I was no scoping with him yesterday along with a friend too. The score was Me: 60 kills, Wrcti: 28, Luis: 46.
You just have to imagine there's a crosshair in the center of the actual crosshairs. The YY trick works somewhat but it's really hard to use it in an actual game. Also, the trcik were you press circle then shoot works also. I got a looooooong shot with that one at Crash.

If you guys want to no-scope add me.

I suppose it all depends on what technique you use, but generally it is luck whenever we do it. We have watched these videos before and wonder how they do shots at those distances. It's pretty easy to do closer range shots - making sure you stand still while you do it so your crosshair is as small as possible. It's greatly helped when you have Steady Aim on (obviously).

When I have Private Matches with my mates no-scoping only I usually always win - I generally tap the aim trigger then let go and fire and it's more likely to get them (the crosshair shrinks a little without actually looking down scope). Longer range shots I have absolutely no idea and put them down to luck...

I'd like to see an non-edited video of the one where he's on Countdown. If that is a single game then I'll definitely put that down to skill. 👍 But we all agree the players he's up against look quite poor giving him a chance to do those shots.

Let me know when you have a Private Match next and I'll join - I'll try no-scope doing what I usually do and see how well I do...

Edit: Oh wow, that last video is insane - it's one I haven't seen before.... But I still want to see a full game!

Edit again: Does this actually work? It's a new one to me:

I would say no. Some guys actually mark out the angle of the bullet from their gun on screen with some sort of tape or semi-permanent marker - an impromptu crosshair if you like.Once you get the hang of it though, it becomes second nature (as the video shows). 'No-scoping' is a skill, and there is nothing at all lucky about it!
