I'm starting to like shotgun rampages...

I would say no. Some guys actually mark out the angle of the bullet from their gun on screen with some sort of tape or semi-permanent marker - an impromptu crosshair if you like.Once you get the hang of it though, it becomes second nature (as the video shows). 'No-scoping' is a skill, and there is nothing at all lucky about it!

The guy shot somebody as he was coming down from a jump, through about a 12 inch hole in between the wall and the shack.

I don't know whether this is the right thread to post this in but....this game is INCREDIBLE!!!

My friend was always telling me how he spent his weekend in front of the tv playing this...I was thing, get a life. But...well I played online yesterday...once I discovered how good it is, I played from 10:30am to 8:30pm. The online gameplay is a thumbs up from me 👍

Yeah, it is addicting. It took me months, before I got online, after beating the game. I've never been a FPS guy, or online gamer. But guys at work pressured me to play online, so I did and I was hooked.

Fair do's, that zzirGrizz is the poodles privates! Just been watching the Matrix vids, and all I can say is

Went 57-13 in Crossfire Domination with elmataplata today. That would be my highest kill count in a Domination match, excluding Shipment. Went with

MP5SD
M9 (poor man's bandolier)

3xFrag (great for multi-kills on flags etc.)
Stopping Power
Steady Aim (normally I would roll wit' Extreme Conditioning but I ran into a lot of fire in an earlier match so I tried to restrain myself :dopey: )

All in all a pretty generic setup, but I guess it's popular for a reason...

Approaching 75000 kills, 1.20 KDR (1.7 over last 1000)

What online level are you guys? After spending 10 hours straight with a lunch and dinner dinner break (30mins together), I only got up to rank 13. I am now rank 14 after a small play last night. Im curious as to what levels you guys are online.

55th no prestige cus it's a waste of time which gains no reward bar cosmetics. nyah nyah. It'd be like us all wearing make up and claiming we're better at life. Fail :)

No but seriously it is just for bragging rights, bragging how little time you spend on other games or whatever

It is absolutely pointless, but I'm a bit of a completionist (pretty irrelevant but I stat maxed all the characters in Final Fantasy X :p) so I can't just leave the option. I probably made it through 9th prestige in like 15 hours or so. The first one probably took like 8 days

And it does give a more accurate description on a player's skill (with the exception of me) than a simple 5 stars :p but then again surprise never hurt...

Last night I played Gen_ZoD (ranked in the top 20 for kills) and he SUCKED. His setup was AK47, Bandolier, SP, and Martyrdom. Why would you use Bandolier and Martyrdom? Bandolier is useless if you die a lot and Martyrdom is useless if you don't die much :odd: At Vacant he ended the game just before we were gonna win

55, 1st Prestige.

Of course that's only useful if the game works and doesn't have a crack in the disk :indiff:

From,
Chris.

Im the same with completing games, always on the hardest setting, always 100% (if rewarded), but I do everything there is to do, prestige is pressing one button then re-doing what I've already done. The only game I haven't fully completed of my PS3 collection is GTAIV, there's no reward so I'm not going to bother with it. I'm still working on Rainbow Six Vegas 2 doing it all on realistic, story at least. I just do the core tasks to claim completion, side things with no real reward mean nothing to me (although I maxxed my guys on FFXII and got EVERY unique weapon including the elusive Tournesol which took around 30 hours of playtime in total).

Some games (COD4 being one of them) I aim mainly to earn some kind of respect amongst those I know through consistent results and with a 2.14 average and rising I have that. I've also previously held world records for hotlaps on Burnout 3, Burnout Revenge (notably not using the best car for that lap), Juiced 2 and Midnight Club 3 through perfectionism. I'm less hardcore now, so consistency and diversity is my aim, and it's important in COD4 to be diverse in all modes, maps, weapons and situations.

Some guys can only play domination and TDM but are useless in Sabotage and S&D, which I think is a bit silly. We all have our best modes but avoiding weak links is always good. Prestige and rank don't mean alot in COD4, and thus became an unimportant feature to me. Just my opinion.

In my opinion, Mile High Club on Veteran is a way bigger achievement then prestige 10, and I've done that 5 times :)

👍

(did you get the Zodiac Spear? Damn Square-Enix and their missables...)

Yes, the hard way but got extremely lucky, about 10 hours spent into that one. Not worth the extra effort though I think. The Wyrmhero Blade was my personal fave.

I might drop in on COD tomorrow, busy trying to get hold of a rare machine though so works getting me alot with that + college.

34?! I've got 6  shows I picked up the game quick though to have 2.14 now and rising :) Doesn't neccessarily mean I'm better/worse though :) Actions speak louder then umm, numbers.

Dude, that's nothing. It takes much longer during the second half.

On Playstation, I'm at the second Prestige, level 55. No Prestige, level 55 on Xbox. I wasn't going to Prestige on Xbox account, but I made a deal with my friend, that if he gold crossed(10th Prestige), I'll take 1 Prestige. He's like level 30-something on the 9th Prestige, so I might have to go at it again. :guilty:

I was having a bad playing night tonight a6. Earlier today i was doing really well, i was averaging 28-3 to 6 deaths but no more than 6 and always over 25 kills. It all went to hell after 9pm for some reason :(. There was a funny part on crossfire where i was crouched in a corner reloading and you just peeped your head over the window and popped me...lol. It reminded me of the here's johnny part in The Shining. I looked up and your head just popped in as if to say, hey....and your dead. I couldn't help but to just sit there and laugh on that. Also on that same match how did you like that grenade to the face at the very start? I have gotten pretty good with nades at the start because people always take the same route, just a well timed and placed nade over a building and bam you have a few kills on the get go :)

That was you!? And one more 'that was you!?'.

I had no idea you were in the same game, but I remember both of those incidents. At the start of the game, I always take that route, but you are the first one to get me there in months. Last time somebody got me in that spot at the beginning, it was on PSN, I was brand new to the game, and I was camping there(most likely).

On the 'shining', I saw some action in that room, so I approached and saw you shooting at someone. Then I think you may have gotten hit, you retreated into that corner, and I couldn't shoot at you, so I did that 'peek' to get a better look at you.

I don't know how much of my scores you got to see tonight, but I'm still struggling with my game, too. Most of the games, I finished in positive score, but just barely. My k/d dropped at one point to 1.60. I'm getting sick of getting my behind kicked so many times. It especially hurts when it is getting kicked by bunch of noobs(pretty much Xbox LIVE versions of Casio).

But it feels like alot after your first time:grumpy:

It is taking longer but I wont get off it.
For me, more you do it, longer it feels. Don't know why.

All those matrix videos do for me is I give him props for some nifty video editing... I prestiged again, I started using the M4 before I did and I do ten times better than I did with any other gun so *shrug*.

In HTDM all snipers are 1 hit 1 kill. So it is more on how good do you aim and how fast do you shoot. drago is one of the best overall.

The one hit one kill statement is untrue. Many times have I shot an enemy in HTDM and it registered the hit (x on screen) yet they limp away and hide. :grumpy:

All the snipers I use(unless the guys have extra health) kill in 1 shot on the body and/or head.
