The Australian Grand Prix, that is. Did ya see the 1st lap where Ralf Schumacher went right over the top of Rubens Barrichello? What about the part right after that when all them nice cars was destroyed?

That was nice - after last year does anyone else appreciate the irony of the Williams going up the back of someone else?

yeah was amazing, with the Digital F1 as well, I was watching Ralf's onboard when he went over Rubens !

I missed the first part of the race last night, but I was recording it so I'll take a look at it this afternoon. I don't guess you got a chance to go to the race, did you, vat_man? That would have been great... F2002, you only make me want that channel even more.

Oh, by the way, was anyone else pleasantly suprised that Ferrari's new Vodafone sponsorship wasn't all that intrusive? I didn't think I'd be able to look at the car, but it actually wasn't that bad once I saw it in motion. :)

Wow, great pictures, Lotus! F1 cars are so hard to capture on film when they're doing fine - you've really got to hand it to those photographers who were able to capture the Williams in mid-air!

WOW!!!!!! I love that 1st pic and the 2nd as well!!!
Hey vat the West Australian on Monday showed Ralf over the top of Rubens, and I thought, geez, Rubens would be absolutely ****ting himself!!

I see no Aussies have defended the song.

I'll sing the Anthem at big events, but I personally hate our national anthem - it's just begging to be droned.

'Aw-strayans aw let arse rejoys, ferwe r yung unfree'

Ugh.

The hilarious thing is people push for 'Waltzing Matilda' to be made national anthem - which is about a guy who stole a sheep jumping in a river to his death to evade the police.

On reflection, that may more accurately capture the spirit of the nation.
