I can't believe that PD would have only been able to model interiors for 200 cars so far. They've had what, five years? Something doesn't match here!

I guess the only way to find out for sure is to buy the damn game!

Nice to know some people don't care much for something which a lot ( including me ) would really love to see clarified very soon.
I didn't care much for reverse lights, but it's good to know they're included ( not least for those who really asked for it ).

And interior view is much more to me than purely eye candy or an insignificant element not adding much to gameplay, to me it enhances the gameplay, enjoyment and the general feel of greater realism to a whole new level ( not just a marginal detail ).
But hey, that's just my opinion.......

It is so frustrating trying to decipher information that seems to be lost in translation or not made entirely clear. I just wish someone would ask the right questions or Kaz would just be upfront and concise about the game details so I can know what to expect.

it does not make sense, they made 70 cockpit views for gt5 prologue, and now they are saying they've only managed to make 130 more in like 3 years, that's like 47 in car views a year since prologue was released......

I think it is going to be 800+ cars with less detailed in car views.

Well....if they do include them, buy it. If they haven't, don't.

It will be cleared up by the 2nd of November so you can decide then to go to the shops or stay at home.

If they come out today and say yes all cars have cockpits you are still not going to get it till 2nd Nov.

I will buy it either way, I find the cockpit view a bit restrictive to be honest.

Every single thread is decending into this bloody cockpit thing. I am sure interior is not the same as cockpit.

Check out the Nascar footage where you can see into the back of the car and everything. I would suggest this is a premium full internal view and standard is just going to be a fixed dashboard view.

This articles made me very uneasy Too right GT. Ace. It's important to me that cars have Full Interior Views I love looking around in the cars in Full HD Glory it looks simply Fantastic. That part of the article simply doesnt stack up... I want confirmation about this. I always play In Car Views especially with my DFGT. Bumper Cams all good and well but i'm too used to GT5 Prologue being able to be inside the car is one if not the most important aspect of GT5 to me.

Also when is Kaz's *Behind Closed Doors Presentation*? Will any of us minions get any New Features Updates? I was really hoping to hear from the man himself this E3 and was Disappointed he didnt make a Public Appearance at least :/ Rawwwwrrr none of this stacks up!

The lack of interior view in 800+ cars is disaapointing, but I'm still amazed that the standard models look just as good on the outside as the premium ones. Look at that screenshot of the Challenger R/T if you don't know what I mean.

In that case if your saving for a 3 screen set up, I agree it will have a big impact on you.

I'm sure it will be fine. Kaz is such a perfectionist I can't imagine him releasing the game with only 200 cockpits. It would be a step backwards from GT5P.

I honestly think the interior and cockpit are different. It would be nice to put it to bed once and for all though.

That don't sound right. I think the 1000 bench mark on cars is a tad too high anyway. I would take 500 with interiors myself.

To the people mentioning the head tracking not applicable on any other view, why not look left or right from the hood?

Common sense would indicate that all cars will have cockpit view, why?

Head tracking, why go to all the trouble of adding it if you can't use it in all cars, and it will only be of use in cockpit view, it's to add immersion, how immersed will you feel using head tracking to look from side to side in hood cam view, seriously.

Someone before mentioned Prologue having 70 cars with cockpit view, so another 130 cockpits since Prologue ? Yeah right!

The replays will look just plain stupid, some cars with blacked out windows because they don't have a cockpit modeled? Again, no chance.

A little common sense here people, it's pretty obvious since the premium cars will have "every nut and bolt" modeled that it's only for the damage model, when you loose a quarter panel so you can see the suspension etc, the "interior" of the car so to speak, under the body.

That's my thinking anyhow, and I am a sceptic at the best of times.

I Have some nice racing games for Ps3,most of them-all but one in fact-I would not classify as SIMS but none of them has 200 detailed to perfection-thus premium-cockpit views nor nothing even close...

So I was asking me to tell me what they were...it could be games only released in Sweden

id be surprized if only 200 cars had in car view, because all cars in prologue 90 ish have it and that came out in 2008. i would have thought there were many many more than just 100 been made with interior view in 2 years tbh

You mean you hope they went back over all EIGHT HUNDRED cars from previous games and modelled the cockpits? I doubt it, so they will have to draw the line somewhere - no good having some standard cars with cockpit views and some without. Best have them all without, and just leave that detail to the premium cars.

Either way, it makes no odds to me - all of them will have hood or bumper cam, and that's all I need.

It stands on my shelf on a horonable position,it was mt first PS3 racing game like 3 years ago but a little dated now-will hardly obscure the "Flaw" GT5 with or without detailed cockpit views for over 800 cars-still fun though...
