For those wondering why it's only Porsche vs. Corvette. Back in the late 00's the two makers had an intense rivalry within the GT2 class, and the peak of that was this insane battle at Laguna Seca for the race finish. Unsure why PD went for the Gr.4 cars though as this was Gr.3 equivalent racing.
Hopefully the lack of braking zones and extra width means fewer negative SR incidents...maybe...It will all be fun and games until someone gets a DR reset from DR 95000

Nah, at minimum 1.5s for contact with the wall.PD would issue a 1 second penalty for that I expect ......

I understand the formula but this one caught me off guard. I also beat guys who had higher DR than me (and the listed B there is a glitch in the site: he’s at almost 40k). The lobby seemed to range from just under 40k to 32k, with me at just over 34k and 18th. It’s a weird one and doesn’t seem to pass the smell test of the formula. I suppose it could be validated but it’s the oddest result I’ve ever had. Do you get a hit if you miss the 60 sec cutoff behind the leader? I didn’t think so.

unless they exclusively improve grip on m6 rear axle (or on all turbo fr gr3 cars)
I might skip all remaining gr3 races because that car is doomed to oblivion.

You know this wouldn't be an issue if you succumbed to the dark side (that the side where all of us DR1 driver's race). 12th is a good finish - especially in that race. I have never seen so many A/S in my life. They do exist - they do exist . . . but not on the dark side. Good race.
I participated in some practice lobbies for RBR Short and the majority of the people
managed to run on one set of Softs and no refuel for the whole race!
The M4 starts with fuel for 18 laps in FM1 settings... I tried everything from short shifting to coasting and there is no way I can take that car without refueling... am I missing something here?
I'm picking the Vette, because I prefer the V8 sound over the Cayman Flat-6. I like the shape of the C7 too. Sits real nice in replays.Corvette vs. Porsche at Laguna? As much as I love the Corvette, I just don't see why anyone wouldn't choose the Porsche for this track.
I'm really looking forward to Yamagiwa in the Manufacturer's Series. Literally my favorite road course, with nice, sticky tires.
Being an oval racing fan, N800 at Route X sounds fun as well. It'll be like NASCAR restrictor plate racing, only way faster. Practice your bump-drafting now, folks!
Gr. B should be a good race for me as well, since I surprisingly got my first road course win in FIA with those cars.
Also, we finally get to race one of the higher Redbull cars!
The rest of the schedule is "meh" and I'm disappointed there's no more Gr. 1, so I guess I won't be actually scoring any points in that category...
