The car was built around those diffusors wich are now illegal so the whole handeling sucks without it, and yeah maybe they are focussing on next year..

Given the crash today Vettel did move up a lot during the race, after the crash he started 13th finished 2nd..Only Button drove the race faster.

Grosjean is a ****ing idiot.

I had the race recorded and watched the start quite a few times. I agree that Grosjean made an exaggerated move to the outside...but Hamilton didn't brake to avoid it...what was he thinking?? I guess that's why he didn't say much to Grosjean after the crash.

I loved Muldonado's start..that was lightning fast. He got an incredible jump on the field. Too bad he only got 4 laps in.

You always get an incredible start when you jump it. ;)

I couldn't believe his start. I've watched F1 longer than most people here have been alive. There are some starts that I remember well, Pastor's was one of the best. Almost like the starter was in his headphones...haha

Almost like he could see into the future and just ignored the lights  he also has a 10 place grid penalty, 5 for the Jump start and 5 for causing a collision

Yes he is :dunce:

Romain Grosjean has turned down an offer from Sir Jackie Stewart to act as his mentor through the remainder of his first full season in F1.

Stewart had offered to help guide the Lotus driver, having suggested that the reigning GP2 champion would benefit from a mentor in order to avoid some of the scrapes he has become caught up in this season.

Crazy crash yesterday :ouch: I don't agree with the 1 race ban though. Yes Grosjean moves a bit too much to the left, but Hamilton could've known that. Not that it's Hamilton's fault, but maybe if it was someone else in that car and lifted...

The crash ruined the race a bit but it was nice to see other cars in front. Vettel had an amazing race, nice so see Raikkonen on podium and great drive from Button. Hoped Schumacher did better but he lost 6th gear :ouch:

I wonder if the crash would've happened if Pastor didn't jump the start.

I don't think so. Watching the replay, he was almost at the corner, and didn't force any off. Listening to the commentators again and they asked the question...Why didn't Hamilton back off???

I think he's missing the point of Jackie Stewart's offer...He says it all in there in the telemetry....Where in his telemetry does it show you how NOT to drive with your head up your ass???

He's a good driver..his points indicate that, but he's only finished 7 of 12 races. Maybe some on course management would help. You just can't go fast all the time....

For one if he'd backed off. The Force India behind would of ended up in the back of hamilton and probably caused the same effect.

This is a good angle to view it from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBM4KpxfsPc

Hamilton had no where to go and if you stop it around 23/24 second mark you can see Roman has actually defended the position correctly, he's given hamilton enough space (1 car width) but then at 25 second mark he moves over again when there is no need what so ever and clips hamilton and we all know the rest lol. The fact people are still trying to put blame on hamilton bemuses me and thats not just because i'm a fan of his. I'm a big fan of Roman aswell but he really needs to learn some spacial awareness.

Another thing that bemuses me. Now i agree with Romans ban, but how the hell Maldonado has avoided a race ban so far is astonishing lol

From this point of view you can see the second move better. Changed my mind a bit. And what you say Stoney, even if Hamilton lifted, he shouldn't had to. Grosjean just couldn't close the gap. Let's see who is getting his seat for Monza. Probably D'Ambrosio but you never know..

Rubens said if he got a call he would drive!

Haha lol!

Have you seen what Lewis posted on Twitter?

McLaren obviously didn't like that..

Great quali for McLaren! Hamilton didn't look that happy though? And wow Massa and Alonso, what happened there? The RedBulls didn't do any good either..

Good to see RB going no where fast, I hope McLaren can beat them to the constructors this year!

I seriously think Maldonado should be banned from F1 - he is going to kill someone with his antics one of these days

What was Senna doing? He hit the wall three times!

Maldonado vs Lewis. Should be entertaining!

More importantly, everyone has to try and get past Maldonado except for Lewis ;)

Didn't turn out good for both..

Another good race for Fernando!

What a save by Felipe!
