What do you expect the Power Pack DLC will cost?

PMR's audience is so so so much smaller than GT's, and anyone who thinks otherwise is just fooling themselves.

People entrenched in the online discourse probably don't see it, because it's a silent majority, but there are likely millions upon millions of GT players who play the game for things you can never get in PMR, or AMS or ACC or any of the other "hardcore" sims.
I never meant to say that PMR would take a huge slice of the pie, but rather a couple of small slices (career mode and online).
GT's player base is very large, and we don't know how big or small PMR's might be (it might even fail).
The only game I think could compete at the level of everything GT has to offer is ACE (when it's finished). But that might still compete with GT8 😅

It's a perfect DLC. 50 races for those that wants more content from a game that essentially should be dead by now.

And those that doesn't want or can afford it gets 2 new tracks and 8 cars which would easy have been a 20 dollar DLC in many other games

Yep. Much like the Lewis Hamilton DLC for GTS they chose to monetise a completely optional DLC while ensuring that core content (tracks and cars) remains the same for everybody so they don’t split the user base.

Good guy PD.

I will gladly buy this DLC after getting free content and support for 3 (!) years.

I’m also a grown adult who knows that what I wanted to be in the game at launch ≠ what should have been in the game at launch.

Nice news for GT7!
I'll buy the power pack no doubt.

Years of free updates, and for endurance race(s) we have to pay? Bit scummy. Also i saw there is a All Japan GT Championship in it. I hope these are new races and not the Weekly Special Races bundled together??

Curious about the difficulty level though.
And as i can see, someone spotted a B-Spec mode? What if we can do all 50 races with a bob also? Would be cool!

I wonder if Steve "Super GT" Brown can beat B–Spec Bob

That said, Brands Indy isn't currently Sophy compatible, is it? Does that imply that Brands Indy will become Sophy compatible, or that B–Spec isn't piloted by Sophy? The plot thickens...

Sophy 3.0 hopefully means that all tracks are supported now. It’s actually crazy we got to 2.0 without it tbh.

I cant wait.

My only concern is will this really show Kaz how much people want a truer racing experience? If loads of people buy will he realise most people want qualifying, and racing from a grid start?

I truly hope so... But by making this paid dlc, in a game this old, I dont think he will get the correct metric.

Can I participate in the races with tuned cars, or are they ALL Balance of Performance (BoP) races?

Will the qualifying mode also be available for existing races, or only for newly purchased ones?
Yes. 👍🏼

Good to have extra content ofcourse, the whole "it should be in the game at launch" theory is not valid ofcourse, it just does not work that way, i finished the game quite quick with some real grinding to buy all cars, so i am sort of a timetrial only person , that's fine with the playtime i have. so then this DLC maby isn't for me, i don't know yet... am i willing to to pay that much if true?

you buy GT7 on PS5 for 43,99 euro's here, i think if it would be priced as mention earlier here at 49,99 euro, i problably pass on it.
Then again, it's nice to have the "full" game..but it would be kind of hars to make a first DLC mosre expensive than the game itself?

Still speculations, lets await the official pricetag

I probably won't be paying more than $20 for this DLC.
We used to get qualifying and endurance races for free back in the days but now it's on a paywall.
Power Pack better go extra few miles to make it worth buying, it can't be just paying for fancier longer races with difficulty slider to turned to 11.
5 million Cr. should be a sweetener and not the excuse why the DLC costs xx amount.
Hoping that Sophy 3.0 isn't locked to DLC so most people won't get stuck with "Dumb" Sophy.

I know PD don’t react to other games, but if this was a way to keep players from jumping to the new alternatives it’s worked in my case.

I’ll stick with GT a little longer, wait to see how the others develop and how long some of the PC-to-console ports take to arrive.

As stayed by others, I don’t care about the included credits so hopefully their inclusion doesn’t bump the price up too much. Just give us an opt-out for those.

Interesting to see the two Beetles(Clarkson Dad joke) in rally gear at Catalunya. Maybe more than one rally style event coming.

The timing of this is interesting for sure. I know kas seems to live in his own world but i can’t help but feel that pd has had one eye on rennsport and pmr. Not that rennsport was anything to worry about 😂

question for all the “should’ve been in the game from Day 1” people…

would you have been happy playing GTSport until Dec 4th this year..?
GT Sport is more like a GT Prologue and not a full-fledged GT.

All full-fledged GT games so far have had endurance races, and GT4 and 5 had the B-Spec mode.

AND all of this was included in the purchase price!!

Just what is needed I like the approach, devil is in the detail though. Slight concern is the GT need for quirk that we see in the weekly challenges... hope a large percentage of these races are not forced into turgid vehicles like the weeklies... Ive no desire to pay for dirt/ice or kei car / trucks races that I avoid like the plague.

Well, I did spot this in Los Angeles...

The B-Spec thing came up in 2022 and it appears to be nothingburger:

From what it was described, it seems to be functionally closer to GT1 Test Drive demo's Auto Drive "assist", where the AI takes over the driving.

yes but this was before PD showed actual B-Spec so now anything is possible

in regards to the DLC , if its not expensive i will most likely get it , also if it was up to me i would have packed some new Gr.3 to it :D

Are these factory seats? Obviously, it's hard to tell from this image, especially for the Beetle, but both interiors seem modified beyond the standard rollcage, at least to me.

If so, could this be some kind of racing modification feature considering the new extreme body parts?

I kinda assume those are special reward cars from that DLC for completing the new races. Considering those are two cars they are using on the main image for the DLC specifically, it seems to be the only thing which makes sense.

Based on the AI performances I've seen and having to pay for tracks and crappy liveries I agree 100%.

Apparently the handling and car sounds are "weird" and the graphics aren't great either.

Pathetic after 2 years in "early-access" mode IMHO.

To people who complain that this will be a paid DLC.

We spend €20 in Mcdonalds or similar without a blink for something that we'll enjoy 10 minutes, this DLC comes in a game we love and adds 50+ hours of enjoyment. After years of free updates I think it's totally reasonable to make one paid DLC that is actually good not Hamilton DLC with only time trials.
