What do you expect the Power Pack DLC will cost?

The price in the Polish PS Store is 25% higher than the price quoted in dollars. :/

I can't say what the end-pack race lengths will be like as you can only see what you have unlocked. The starter ones all all that short and based on where the later ones we know are (Gr.C Daytona & Gr.3 Daytona) they probably peak at about 20 minutes.

I feel like it's going to be "short" races (5-7 mins like Daily B) - "long" races (15-20 like Daily C), and then probably some bonus endurances chucked in at the end. But we'll see more in time.

Race is the same. I biffed the chicane on the last lap so add probably 1.5-2s (ish) to the delta. I was about a second per lap faster overall.

Interested to know if this gets harder.

The fact you got 3 secs ahead of Sophy indicates there's less or no boosting going on, in a custom race it's hard to get more than 1 sec ahead in similar cars.

This is why there’s 5,000,000 Cr.

You unlock a car and then you can buy them.

I used the Alfa at Suzuka, got pole and lost to Miyazaono in the Skyline. I used the Skyline and I was nearly three seconds faster. Won the race by 15 seconds. Did brands hatch and won that by 11.8 seconds. Look like the lower payout car will breeze you through.

I was watching Kie25 stream and it seems there is rubber banding.

What is the prize money like and can you earn it repeatedly? Hate being at work right now. 🥲

Maybe already mentioned, but did anyone notice how it is stated Power Pack 1 in the description when you go to the PS Store? Won't jump to conclusions, but maybe there is more paid DLC on the way in the future to hold us over until GT8.

Now this is a joke if it holds throughout the campaign (shouldn't be happening at this point either).

How do you not have maximum pace Sophy on a DLC with close racing as part of the tagline? Let's hope it gets faster. I'd appreciate you keeping us updated if it's not too much trouble.

The best news of the day for me. Not that they're buyable - i could have managed with only one if necessary - but with the Hakosuka being properly NA instead of turbo as it's in the first race. That would have been an enormous issue.

So it looks like 6 directions/themes you can go in, which match the themes in the announcement. I wonder if we can work them out?
  • Japan-Asia - this is orange as it states so in the shot.
  • Europe - this looks like the green one with the GTIs
  • America - this is blue, slowed the YouTube video down to read it
  • Historic
  • Tuning
  • Nürburgring
If anyone is wondering:

  • Japan-Asia - this is orange
  • Europe - this is green
  • America - this is blue
  • Historic - this is yellow
  • Tuning - this is indigo
  • Nürburgring - this is pink

And the thing I saw with the races are something I thought about waaayyyyy back. If we got World Tour racers best times and we qualified for a race, we’d just slot in where ever. It nearly felt like that with the top performers at the front. Same positions until the bottom couple of cars.

Edit: Doing the Civic race to grab the D-Tuned before I shut it down.

I'm a little confused by what you mean exactly? It might be obvious but I'm not quite getting it. My apologies!

I haven't noticed any, they just seem to lap at whatever their quali pace is. This was only a 4-lapper, barely even saw the car in 2nd.
This isn't looking good at all. Don't get me wrong guys, I'm not here to complain... But how..? Why..??

You have a dlc that's supposed to bring more challenge and competitive racing, however, that's not what we are seeing. The AI pace is all over the place, the gap differences are massive. I really was hoping for tougher races.. it seems that Sophy 3.0 is slower than the current 2.1 😭

Just did my first race. Civic race (90's) and finished 7th. I should have been 6th but I messed up the final corner. I got 14 stars for it. I increased my starting position twice but was miles behind the lead five cars. 8 seconds by the flag. Stupid design though. An Hour to practice for a ten minute qualification session all for a three lap race. :banghead:

Can you skip practice?

That's ridiculous (though at least practice is skippable). On top of that, you can't tune the car in a 1 hour practice session to optimize your ride.

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand all these "good price" comments.

For €30, you only get extra races on existing tracks, with cars you already own, and you can't even tune them for the races, apparently not even customize them, similar to split-screen mode.

Yes, you get six cars, but you already own them or can buy them. They just look slightly different.

It's not worth the money. I'd rather wait until the DLC is on sale.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. GT7 is available for €45 on Amazon, without any discounts. The DLC costs €30.
You're paying 66.6% of the current full price for GT7 for the DLC and only getting about 20%, or less, of the content.
I don't understand it either. It doesn't seem like very good value for some limited single player content. At the same time PD are giving us many many cars and some tracks for free so we can't really complain about it imo. I will buy it eventually. Not really in a rush to play it day one.

I'll probably get it in the new year. Was tempted to buy it day 1, but given the views of the above I think I'll enjoy the new spec 3 stuff first and move over to the DLC later
