Hell yeah, I have 3 or 4 cars that are max tuned too. Rally Fighter AWD for offroading/jumps, Dart Hemi for drag, and a LaFerrari for speedzones/traps. The others are lightly tuned for street races.

Finally got my drivatar lineups from the GTP club, all 4 of 'em.

What I'm working on right now :p

I also have a full GTP lineup currently after I got @UKMikey and @symo63 to complete my crew.

Two things I wanted to share here. First, proof of the 200,000cr payout. This is my third.

Second, I did a rivals race. I'm not showing this so you can see I beat someone. No, I'm showing this because it's a clean lap of the Goliath course. Nearly 13 minutes and not a single tree hit, wall tapped, checkpoint missed or use of the Y button. I am so freaking proud of that.

:ouch:

I'll get you back! :p

In just about every racing game I turn off the in-game music, but haven't done so in FH3 yet. For the most part I had the radio off except during bucket list events, but I accidentally changed to a station and..

>"Jurassic 5 - What's Golden" plays

I think I'm gonna leave the radio on...

This quickly became one of my favorite games yet.

Welcome to the Horizon Block Party master race.

I'll admit it's been a few years since I graduated from Holy Family Catholic Elementary School, but I should have put 2 and 2 together before now. You're the Fred I beat. Bring it! I may be old but I've still got moves!

The only cars that I modify considerably are SUV's and big trucks. It helps making them a bit more fluid during racing. Other cars that I have done quite a lot to is the old Galant, Legacy and Delta. The three of them with rally suspension and tires, some weight reduction and stage three turbo; which really, just bumps up the HP to like 320 or 350. That gets them very close to the rally car theme. Man, those three oldschool sedans are fun to drive and will go anywhere!

The max hp ratings for the common engine swaps (GM LS3, Viper V10, RB26, 2JZ) outside of the Lamborghini V12 seem pretty...low.

The max for the Rb26 is like 760hp..

Finally photographed (seems like an odd word, but my spell checker says it exists, so I'll just roll with it) all 425 cars! I hope I never have to do it ever again. Just had to come up with around 10 Blueprints to find the last 30 cars, including 3 hidden Horizon Editions. 🤬

Yeah, that was quite a bummer to see, I was really hoping they might take into consideration what some of these engines are capable of. Now it's just "6.5L V12 with 1500hp" if you want a high-powered engine. Meh.

AWD swap it. Kinda nasty to do so, but with how much easier they are to control and how important launching right past most of the competition is on short races, AWD really is the answer you're looking for.
If one has to modify a car to make it driveable, then it's not a good car.

One could also turn on TCS, I suppose. 1,020 HP vs. 950 kg - question is, what does one expect?

Considering the above, I'm wondering what cars y'all want to run 1,000+ HP engines in. I'm also wondering how 750+ HP isn't "high powered", to be quite honest
I got @Luminis to join my lineup today! :D

I just had that perfect old-Top-Gear moment.

I was driving to Sufers from Byron Bay in my brand-new 570S, and I remembered that I had a recruitable Drivatar to beat who was hooning around in the palm plantation to the west of the Silver Sands Shipwrecks. I decide to go looking for him and, sure enough, there he is - driving a FJ Land Cruiser. Really? Against a 600 horsepower McLaren? It's not even a fight!
As usual for me as of lately, I decided to stick to the GPS route, which led me through gravel roads and narrow tarmac sideways almost for the entirety of its lenght. Too bad the Land Cruiser decided to exploit my sporting gesture and cut through the fields instead, essentially evening the odds and turning a cakewalk into one of the few head-to-head races that I was at a serious risk of losing so far in my experience.

So, the sun is gently setting behind the hills, and as I struggle to keep the car steady on the dirt and get the massive amounts of power to the pavement, the final notes of S.P.Y.'s What The Future Holds start playing on the radio. As the GPS finally leads me to rejoin real asphalt roads for the last 400 metres stretch, the FJ is well ahead of me. I push hard on the trigger button, the tires squeal and puff smoke as they touch with the more grippy surface, and I have to apply full opposite lock to not make a very expensive purple omelet.

I won, but... I don't know, wouldn't say I got a tear in me' eye, but it was an inspiring moment that I wasn't expecting to happen so spontaneously in this game. It all came together in one single moment - the wonderful map design, the excellent choice of cars available, the superb soundtrack, the physics which are perfectly calibrated for a fun arcade romp; hell, the Drivatars which are too damn smart when they work as they're supposed to.

I can only wish there was an option for custom Showcases now. "Beat a Land Cruiser at its own game in a modern supercar" could've been a pretty cool idea.

(As a bonus, the song was playing as a Skill Song, which also means that I got double skill points for all those drifts on the gravel)

Did the final Showcase a while ago. It wasn't bad in itself, but the Centenario vs. fighter jet would've been a much better choice for the last Showcase event.

If only there was a way to turn off drivatars and traffic in single player. It's almost impossible to get good drift scores because the more you hang around a drift zone, the more drivatars start hanging around as well. I regularly have 10+ drivatars blocking the road racing each other whilst I'm trying to do a speed trap or something. Slamming into AI head on when you're in the correct lane gets old very quickly.

I could very well be blind, but is there not a way to gift other people cars?

Yeah, I get that it's a part of the challenge but it can get rather ridiculous at times. What's really annoying is when you are coming up on them and they slam on their brakes for no reason.
