What would make the game more enjoyable for me, would be to allow different wheel options for standard cars.
A lot of the standards do look pretty good, and just having the wheel option would make most cars look great in my garage and in replay.
Changing a bunch to premium would be great too though. Please add the 250GTO, and 288 GTO. PLEASE!

I've just thought of a really good DLC. How about something like Autolog in Need For Speed, which is connected to PD's Head Office (with translators), which tells us clearly and concisely what they are doing to improve the game and fix it's problems!

The news channel's been in GT5 since 1.00, so it does have the kind of thing you describe... except for the bit where PD informed you of coming improvements

Based on recent updates and existing content I bet they will just bring out novelty in-game items, like a washing machine for your racing suit and gloves, located in GT Auto it will clean your dirty kit for 50 credits.

Or if PD work really hard they will provide an In-car-entertainment head unit that can be installed into a car for 1000 credits. This will use the PSeye to check via head tracking to see if you are bopping your head in time to the background music. If successfully gaining a required number of bop points you can then watch a replay of your helmeted self nodding to the music in your car. They would have done a 3 minute karaoke record of your own sing-a-long using the mic but they ran out of memory on the PS3.

They may also add an extra option for pit stops, as well as tyres and fuel a 3rd option will say "toilet box", when this is highlighted it will give +30 seconds waiting time for a splash and dash. Useful for online endurance races when you can't pause. A bonus is 1kgs will be removed from your cars kerb weight to reflect fluid loss of driver. So also a tactical tool. There is a 1 credit fee for toilet stops during the race.
Using "toilet" increases the observable stains on your racing suit.

That would be usefull. If you fully tune and aero mod your car into a drift BEAST, is it really still an RX8 Type S ?

When technically its got a pretty stripped out interior. Massively upgraded and balanced engine with a supercharger or massive turbo, full race exhaust, plastic windows, carbon fibre hood. Twin plate clutch, carbon fiber prop shaft, the list goes on. It seriously should be called whatever I want to call it, because it only resembles the RX8 in the BASIC engine, as most parts of it are now changed, and looks.

It's like removing the livery from a Cusco Subaru and then calling it a:

Subaru Imprezza Type C '08

Or something.

Couple things on my wishlist.

Be able to put rims on any standard car.
Make it possible for high horsepower cars to lift the front ends up.
Be able to change wheel & tire size
To have mechanical problems with cars in endurance races etc.

That would be sweet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the return of Red Rocks and the Shelby Daytona Coupe, my favorite track and favorite car from GT2.

I would like the ability to pit in an endurance race and quit the game. Then be able to resume the race later. Same as the new button in the championship events.
Also I'd like to put rims on standard cars.
The ability to make one trade per profile per day returned.
The ability to save more than one tune per car as GT5 Prologue had. Or, at the risk of committing heresy, the ability to tune for each track as Shift 2 allows.
I'd like the G27 added to the supported wheels section too.

Yes. The quick shift bit. You can tune for any track and keep it in Shift 2 whereas you have to keep re tuning in GT5. Which means writing down and saving all your settings etc.
Prologue was good for 3 set ups so you could tune for short and tight tracks, average tracks and long high speed tracks.

3. manufacture locked engine swaps
4. custom race suit and helmet editor(now no one will look like each other...kind of)
5. classic and new tracks
6. an actual track creator(but based on the Course Maker)
7. ability to open doors, etc. in Photo Travel
8. Record video from replays
9. More RM cars

2. more tuning options
3. GT5 iPhone(and other smartphones) app for B-Spec(woah, just thought of that, haha)
4. Day and night/weather options on more tracks
5. updated seasonal events
6. updated online dealership
7. fix bugs and glitches(nurburgring)
8. Special DLC-only trophies
9. One or two RM cars for those who don't purchase the DLC


Nothing ever goes the way we want to so this will most likely not happen anytime soon....or at all.
