I give up in the DBR9.. I'm down to 1'56.5xx trying to stay in the boundaries and went out by about 1 inch on this lap carried on and beat by best but no way I can take another 1 sec+ off so I'm tapping out! Love this car just wish it was another track and I'd probably be more competitive with the top 30 runners for sure ;)👍

Top marks to those low 1'55's though they are smokin fast!!! Here's my best lap in onboard view as my final curtain on this round.. Tadaaa!!!

Heres my quick tune for the focus.

Was good enough for a 1.47.6 but for anyone prepared to do more than a few laps
should get into the 46s bracket.

Now the TX3 guys have a decent tune, Im leaving this for you guys to tweak and improve
as I cba to drive this monstrosity any more :dopey::lol:

150,95
2.10,1.35
10,1
67,58
97,88
3.0,2.8
0.00,0.00

5,45,10

124mph top speed first,
final drive to 5.000
set gears to.
2.920
2.125
1.700
1.425
1.205
1.055

final gear back to 3.100

Enjoy. :gtpflag:
Thanks, got 1.48.9 with yhis quite easy.

Hopped on having not really played for a couple months and I’m greeted with an absolute barge of an Aston
Huge props to Phil and the others going deep into the 55s 👍 need to figure out where I’m losing time to you guys

Yeah It's not a subtle car at all  It drives very differently to how I expected, a lot of understeer on corner exit was the main surprise.

Thanks :gtpflag:

In the rear damping ratio, is that the correct value?

Have neglected TT for a bit but jumped in the AM yesterday to have a go at the Nurb. Did 3 laps, thought I'd done OK, then looked at the ranking.
Eeeeek.... I'm nowhere near Alien but surely not THAT bad (times and rank are withheld to protect the innocent...).
Anyway, went into car settings and saw that the tires it had on it were Intermediates, left on from a recent race elsewhere.
How can this happen? I thought the tyres were automatically swapped when you entered the car?

Changed the tyres to the only ones you could select (so how I had intermediates on is a mystery), racing hard, and tried again.

Only knocked 2 seconds off so, yeah, I really am that bad....... but not quite as bad as I thought!

EDIT - I was mistaken - you can opt for intermediates or wets..... although it says changing to Racing Hard on the intro screen, seems if you have intermediate or wets on already (which I did for the Gr.3 Tokyo race) they'll stay on, so beware!

I’d forgotten all about the counter steer being allowed in these TTs.
I don’t think I’ll be joining them but each to their own I suppose.
There’s no overtake button in the formula TT so that’s 1 less thing to blame my lack of pace on.

Just had about a dozen laps in the Honda SF19 and pretty much the first tinkering about tune I put on the car feels pretty solid.. another second to catch 1st place so will be adjusting the car some more next session... feel free to try my base set up it's at the end of the video below, If someone has a better tune feel free to share as this combo is pretty cool

I stayed stock and put full df on the front, the gearing was slower than ideal but was enough for a 14.7.
Will take a look at your tune @Mr P

Praiano tune - I got a 14.7 with this too.
Current top is a 13.256 from the BFR team.

@xtrax Tremendous time congratulations my friend:cheers:

thank you :D
with approximatively same setup, as before :
Excellent Setting gear of @numbnuts70 , thanks 👍
break : 1
154 94
2.10 1.20
10 1
63 63
93 93
3.0 2.8
0.00 0.00
DGL : 5 46 7

I think an improvement of about 0.1 s would be possible. But not enough time, I had no steering wheel since last Wednesday and I got one only this Monday. By the time you got used to this new steering wheel, it was too late

@COLOMBIAMIGUE7 Congratulation for your great time 👍
I test also your last setup, it's nice . I manage 1.46.705 easily :gtpflag:

Thank Guys for sharing your setup and Tips

Have a nice day

Very nice set up 👍 down to 8th on a 1'13.9 with 5 laps.. I'm gonna gun down some of the top 10 with this great tune now ;) Thanks for sharing!

I think the fast boys are toe out on both axles.

I think I ran 0.25 out on fr and rear for a 13.8 for p9 but that’s now 1sec off p1

I could keep up with the BFR up to the cutting chicane, I just gotta practice that last sector.
