I would probably skip it like I did GT6. But let's see if they have done anything to address their crippling management issues.

Even if GT7 had +200 new super premium cars and +15 new tracks (like spa, laguna, pikes peak, and some gt classics like deep forest, grand valley) together with whole content from gt sport, would you skip it? I think it is possible scenario, that we'll get GT7 on ps4.

Here's my prediction:

Cars:

1. Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 Superveloce '09 (N700)
2. Porsche 718 Cayman S (N400)
3. Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo MR '98 (N300)
4. BMW M8 GTE '17 (Gr. 3)
5. Ford GT GTE '17 (Gr. 3)
6. Ford GT '17 (N700)
7. Honda Civic Type R '97 (N200)

Track:

Twin Ring Motegi (Super Speedway, West and East Short Courses, and Road Course)

GT League Events:

- Type R Meeting (Beginner League)
- Made in Flacht (Amateur League) - basically racing events focusing on N-Class Porsches.
- Club ///M (Amateur League)
- Additional races in Gr.1 Cup (Professional League)
- Additional race in Porsche Cup (Endurance League)
I don't think we'd see the M8 come any time soon; or even the Ford GT. And based on current trends, we won't get four new to the series cars.

I really don't like the term super premium, it's either PS4 quality or it isn't. I will judge the game on its merits, along with what other games are achieving. GT6 was only an incremental improvement, so I skipped it.

What? No, it means the opposite of that. If they introduced a Spa or Silverstone they'd almost certainly want it to be in this season.
Has not this happened in the FIA season before? Didn't we get TBA on a couple tracks? Not to mention the new car "leaks", during FIA events, before we got monthly updates.

Yes but there is no TBA. The schedule is already filled with existing tracks. And cars and live events aren't relevant at all.

I came across a schedule that showed TBA for a few events. Must have last week. Didn't pay it that much attention, until remembering it just then.
Maybe it was in the FIA thread.

I posted the currently available schedules in the FIA thread, both of them are full.

As much as I want one, I doubt we'll get a "Honda" in the next update. We just got one in 1.32.
Could be a Spoon N300 car, if it's Honda based.

We missed out on a Toyota again, for the last couple updates. Any Toyota has to make an appearance for the next. A Lexus model? May happen side by side with a Toyota.

Thought we may have been due for a French car in 1.32. The 2CV comes to mind as a standard that could be updated to Premium.

These updates have some awesome surprises of late.
I'm positive thet we might see the EK9 soon, maybe not in the next one though! I don't think the order they brought the NA1 NSX and Integra is a coincidence! The NSX was the first ever Type R model and the Integra was the 2nd! EK9 was the 3rd :) In that case i hope is the'98 facelift model!!

Oh, I have no doubt the EK9 is coming. PD can prove me wrong anytime!

A real world track. Could be European, American or Japanese.
A SEMA winner
A Ferrari
A Standard to premium, sorry, Super Premium upgrade.
Five GT6 premium cars which may be useful or in Gr.X.
New track could also be Australian (or Nz) or South American, and new.

It makes you wonder how long PD have had the Supra for if it takes 6 months to do a car. It could still be a while away (or round the corner)

It depends, if I’m not mistaken the Honda S660 if I have the correct car was outsourced and PD were very happy with the quality of work, to me it looks like PD will use that company to outsource more cars and speed up the process and I wouldn’t be surprised if and it’s just an if the Supra comes in the next update because the car was outsourced or PD have sped up the process.

or better Pikes Peak!)

Off topic but I've been playing Colin McRae Rally: Dirt on PC lately and I absolutely love that track but I guess it has the same problem as the Deep Forest to make it to this title; too much trees. Nevertheless if it did, I believe they should also introduce some specific hill climb cars.. Peugeot 405? or VW Pikes Peak electric car maybe? That would be beastly.

20 cars vs 1 car, that's the biggest difference. Goodwood in GT6 had the most beautiful trees in the game. (BTW, I hate to think that Poly is behind this exclusivity, like EA and Porsche...)

I know this is a joke post but I highly doubt that'll happen since most people don't really give a toss about Australia in general.

Most Australian tracks are very ordinary club circuits anyway. Phillip Island is the only other track worth considering.

Adelaiade is quite good. Ex-F1 Circuit and it's got plenty character. Walls, overtaking spots and high speed stuff. Pit lane is also a relief, to those too jittery to navigate Mount Panorama's pit entry. ;)

I was thinking about this when I said most and not all tracks, because I agree that Adelaide is brilliant.

The issue I see is that with real life street circuits there is a very limited window to actually scan the track when it is in a race ready condition.

What about Sandown? It's hosted more rounds of ATCC/V8 Supercars than any other track in the country...

Sydney Motorsport Park looks like a pretty good circuit. Surfer’s Paradise, especially the older, longer version, is also a good looking circuit. Long Beach in PC2 is really fun, I imagine Surfer’s would be similar in feel.

I like Sandown personally, but I find it pretty unremarkable in the context of picking world circuits to scan. If PD could model tracks as quickly as SMS then sure, but I would rather they be a little more selective while their real track count is so low.

*Inb4 Melbourne Park complainers grew into the same size as Spa complainers*

Albert Park GP circuit is not even the 3rd best circuit in Australia, despite it hosting F1. It is a great area to walk your dog though.

I will be amazed if any other real Australian circuit is added to the game during the lifespan of GT Sport.

I was watching a replay of the V8 Supercars race at Newcastle not long ago, and that track looked great fun! Probably not easy for those who want clean sport-mode races (I haven't gotten round to getting a PS Plus subscription, so this doesn't worry me yet). But fast, technical, and what looked like a fair bit of elevation change. I'd love to have a go

As for some speculation, I think the new Supra road car will come in the February update (given we got the Concept in April after unveiling in March), along with a Supra Beginner event, now that we'll have three generations (which seems to be PD's magic number for these categories).

I also think another Porsche Cup race in the Endurance League is likely, given PD seems to add one endurance race each update, and we got Gr.1 last time and Gr. 3 before that. I also think 2 more Passion of Dr Wankel races in beginner league (it only has 3 currently, and if they haven't given more to FF Challenge by now, it seems unlikely they will, so it's my most likely candidate). Since we got a few older cars last update, I think we'll get two more races in the Nostalgic Car Festival in the Amateur League, and I think two more races in the Group 1 Cup in Professional League. If, and it's a big if, we get another hypercar track day special in the update, then I think we could get an event just for those cars in Professional League as well.

Cars:

A90 Supra Road Car (N300)
Ferrari FXX K (Group X - long shot, but would fill group X, hypercar track day special, and new car to the game)
BMW 507 (N100 - classic sports car)
Plymouth AAR Cuda 340 Six Barrel (N300 - classic American muscle car)
GoPro Rampage 1970 Camaro (N700 - GT Award winner)
LCC Rocket (N300 - English car, returning from GT6)
Lexus IS200 (J) (N200 - Standard to premium)
Mitsubishi HSR-II (N400 - returning from GT6, we always seem to get at least one N400)

Assuming we get the hypercar races, then I think we could get Ascari - after all, the circuit was built for rich people to take their limited edition hyper-track day cars to!
