If you want another I would go to british as its a classic but if you want to make a holiday out of it as well then go to one of the dull spanish races.

Why not go to monaco the hill is free to watch from.

Monaco for sure. That place is just crazy for these cars to race on. I think the atmosphere of the race itself would be just as awesome as the race. I mean, who doesn't like Monaco? I bet the screaming of the engines there would make any F1 fans jaw drop. Not to mention, the place is so beautiful.

This year, I'd love to attend Austin (Even though I know I won't be able to). Although next year, I may have the opportunity to attend the inaugural Grand Prix of New New Jersey since I'll be living near NYC soon.

Spa mainly cause it would be an F1 trip with an epic race(It never dissapoints) and if you went with friends you would be camping in tents which is epic when you're 10 miles from you're house, so it will also be epic near a race track.

Abu Dhabi won't be too bad but in terms of exciting racing, I'd go as far to say Montreal or Melbourne Park even given great previous there.

Ideally I'd love to go to Spa, just for the history and track and how good it is. Realistically however, Silverstone is my only option, nor that that is a bad thing though

This year, I'd love to attend Austin (Even though I know I won't be able to).

I think I'd like to go to Austin, too, the reason being that the circuit was deliberately constructed so that you can see as much of it as possible from the main grandstands.

I'd also consider going to Valencia or Abu Dhabi, largely because I know the coverage of the race at the actual circuit isn't as good as the television coverage. So I'd prefer to go to a circuit where I can soak up the atmosphere without missing out on the action.

I really hope to visit the US Grand Prix this year in Austin. It's a long shot, but if there is any race that is within reach for me, being in Jamaica, it's there.

Done Silverstone, I've got Bahrain (if it even happens) and Abu Dhabi on the cards and I fully plan on going to Spa, Monaco, Montreal and Monza at some point.
I'd be tempted to go to Hungaroring, Nurburgring/Hockenheim, Suzuka, Albert Park and basically most of the calendar if the stars align and I get an opportunity to. But I won't go out of my way to try and go to these. Normally I wouldn't bother with Bahrain or Abu Dhabi but events have led to me getting the opportunity to go..so..

I don't understand this whole "a circuit must have elevation to be good" theory, as if elevation is the deciding factor in how popular a circuit is. Silverstone has virtually no elevation to speak of, but is one of the most popular circuits on the calendar. Abu Dhabi has thirty metres of elevation, but is abhorred by the fans. And at the same time, Spa has the greatest elevation changes of any circuit and is revered by fans around the world, while Valencia is as despised as it is flat. So elevation is not all that it is cracked up to be.

Will be interesting to see if the New Jersey street race is even half as exciting.

It also has one the most extreme gradients on the calendar. Eau Rouge is steeper, but I do believe that Port Imperial's average gradient is greater than Spa's.

I get your point, but corners such as Eau Rouge would be nowhere near as exciting without the crazy elevation change, it would just be a kink. And the fans who attend probably do hate or love individual tracks for a diverse range of reasons, not simply how interesting the track is but how good the visibility is from the spectator areas and the general atmosphere of the track to name a couple.

That's interesting, I wasn't aware of that. Here's hoping it lives up to expectations, I love the street races.

The chances of this happening are incredibly slim. It's like being stabbed in the street, it happens everywhere, but people still go outside. You just gotta take your chances in life.

You are right. I was just a bit (well a lot!) appalled upon learning there are bets about who driver gets killed next or if spectators are victims too. I realised I was part of this equation.
