I would be happy going to any GP on the calendar!

Even Valencia! Especially with these seats:

European GP is a bad race? Bah!

Sepang is a definitely obvious choice for me as I live around 30km from the circuit and been there since 2005 and never missed one since then.

However, I would really love to attend the Monaco GP. I think the atmosphere says it all. While it's not everything about racing, you can spend some time around the city at night.

Singapore GP is also a very nice addition because the night time atmosphere on the street is something that no other circuit has. The location is also not too far from the city center itself and along the week before the GP, there are gazillions of activities to promote the GP. It should be fun!

I'd love to go to Spa, however, having just moved to Japan, my second favourite circuit is now more likely.

You lived closer to Montreal :sly:

I'd want to go to Spa for the 24 hour, 100 km, and the GP. But now the GP doesn't look like it will happen anymore :(

Very true, but I didn't have a lot of money at the time. I originally intended to go to Vancouver, but things changed and I ended up in Toronto. By the time I even thought of going to the GP, ticket prices were too high and every hotel was booked solid.

My Fiancee's family live fairly close to Suzuka, so that will help cut down costs.

I have been hoping to go to a F1 race for years now, but my problems boil down to money and finding at least 1 other person interested in going / spending money! I have 3 choices in mind though.

Britain of course is one, being our home race. Can travel up on day, get caught in loads of traffic, watch an Ok race (Silverstone is usually one more for the tacticians rather than the spectacle...), then get caught in more traffic. Its the cheapest but you still pay a heck of a lot just for Sunday tickets.

Next is Belgium which many others have said due to the magic of the circuit. Its slightly more expensive than going to Silverstone would be, but we'd get a road trip from the event if we stopped by other places as well. One friend who is interested though isn't too happy with the road trip aspect or likelihood of rain...

Finally then, Abu Dhabi. Most expensive by a margin, but we are thinking it would be more about the holiday than just the race. Ferrari world to visit at the circuit and Abu Dhabi itself sounds like an amazing place to spend a week or 2. Race itself can be a bore as well though, but potentially the crowning place for Vett-the 2012 champion. Plus as a final bonus, friend has discount on long haul flights with Virgin!

That's how far planning has got so far, and I think money will be ultimate factor for others. Another to throw into the mix though is Hungary, since the tickets for the weekend are amongst the cheapest and you can still make a holiday of a F1 race weekend visit.

Montreal; as I grew up there and attended the races in the 1980's; Nurnburgring as my parents are from Germany and Monza for the Tifosi :)

And the U.S. Grand Prix because it is relatively nearby and brand new :)
