The Stanceworks Track Expansion is now available for Project CARS in a continual effort by Slightly Mad Studios to keep the WMD-powered game feeling new with monthly content.
This month delivers the most eclectic combination of rides yet; ranging from a track-ready machine waiting to be aimed, to two race-prepped BMW’s ready to tear up the path set in front of them.
First up on the introduction list is “Mad Mike’s” Formula Drift NC Miata that more than lives up to the idea of absolute insanity. Next is KTM’s ultra-light X-bow R, capable of outgunning cars with twice the power with considerable ease. And then there were two—the final two—the BMW 2002 and 1-Series M-Coupe, both with the added flare of StanceWorks.
To recap, the cars included in this month’s pack are as follows:
- KTM X-Bow R
- Mazda MX-5 RADBUL Formula Drift car
- BMW 1-Series M-Coupe Stanceworks Edition
- BMW 2002 Stanceworks Edition
In addition to the included rides is the return of Bannochbrae Road Course, a location not seen since the development stages of the title. As you’ve come to expect, this month’s offerings don’t end there as two new invitational events have been added to the game’s extensive single-player campaign:
Lakeshore Vintage Cup – A single event featuring vehicles manufactured from 1950 to 1973
- Start Date – June 16th
Location – Bannochbrae
Unlock Criteria – Win The GT3 UK Trophy
V8 Bathurst Trophy – A single event featuring the 2013 Ford Falcon FG
- Start Date – May 23rd
Location – Bathurst
Unlock Criteria – Win The GT4 Asia-Pacific Trophy
Rounding out the expansion is this month’s free car, the Ford Falcon FG V8 Supercar which has been sought after since the game officially launched.

Am I the only one who finds the V8SC really damn understeery
I’m actually kind of shocked how good this DLC is. EVEN THE DRIFT CARS. I never expected the drift cars to be any good and they’re awesome. Surprisingly easy to drift thanks to what is clearly a great base setup.
Also the Ford Falcon is brilliant. Probably my favorite modern GT car in the game. The KTM Xbow is, well, a KTM Xbow R AKA BRILLIANT, and the BMW 1M GT3 is my new favorite GT3 car as well.
Bannoche Brae is also gorgeous and a great track IMO.
I swear I love these monthly DLC’s so much I hope they NEVER end.
The latest DLC pack doesn’t have any GT3s, the 2 BMWs are road B & historic touring B.
