The first images of Bertone’s Vision GT car have apparently been leaked, hitting the web thanks to a car design Facebook page. The renderings show what would be the most radical, over-the-top Vision GT projects to date, giving GM’s Chaparral 2X a run for its money.

It’s finally here, the weekend I’ve been looking forward to since the 24th of November last year, the 2015 Formula 1 season is upon us and I can only expect great things considering last season was nothing short of fantastic. How will Sebastian Vettel fair with Ferrari? Something tells me that Ferrari might be expecting the second coming of Michael Schumacher with the 4-time champion by their side. In response to this possibility, I’ll say now as I said then: if Fernando Alonso couldn’t pull it off then I don’t see Vettel being able to either.

In just a few weeks’ time two more winners of the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy will start their dream job, racing a Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 in the Blancpain Endurance Series.

Nissan is doing pretty much everything outside-the-box for their assault on the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year: they’re competing with a front-engined, front-wheel-drive LMP1 car (with wider tires in the front than the back, no less) that’s going to be piloted by two drivers who began their racing careers in Gran Turismo, Jann Mardenborough and Lucas Ordoñez.

The 2015 Formula 1 season begins next week! I’ll dive into that a bit later on, but needless to say I’m plenty excited and am looking forward to what awaits at each and every corner.

It’s been a long, long time since we’ve heard anything about the Gran Turismo Movie – a feature film built around the GT franchise. The project was first leaked in 2013, and formally announced at Gamescom by SCEE President Jim Ryan later that year, but there hasn’t been much said about it since then.

Weighing in at 536MB, it includes one of the most-requested and beloved original tracks in the history of the franchise: Midfield Raceway. First introduced in GT2 and last seen in GT4, the track has received a complete refresh, with time-of-day and weather changes.

Polyphony Digital has announced the online services for Gran Turismo 6 will be closed for approximately two hours on Thursday, February 26th, starting at 08:00 GMT/UTC (convert this to your local time here).

Another batch of teaser screenshots – this time from Polyphony’s site – show a few more details of the new MINI Clubman Vision GT car.

We first learned that GT6’s B-Spec mode was nearing release when some of Polyphony’s official European websites were updated with the first two in-game screenshots of the new driving mode. Today, we have even more information and screenshots thanks to a new article on the company’s Japanese blog.

Mini has released full design sketches for their “Clubman Vision Gran Turismo” concept car, after the first in-game GT6 screenshots were leaked early this morning.

Two images of a mysterious new Mini bearing the Gran Turismo 6 screenshot logo were obtained by GTPlanet earlier today, revealing some details of a car from the iconic manufacturer which don’t necessarily match those of any of their existing models.
