Located in Britain, Oulton Park circuit has hosted a number of Formula-style events during the its existence — British F3 still visits every year — before it became widely associated with modern touring car competitions. If driving around this challenging course in an open-wheeler seems to be rather unusual, then perhaps the following challenge should make you reconsider.

To a wide audience, racing driver Ben Collins is most famously known for playing the role of The Stig on Top Gear. While he also performed stunt driving scenes for several blockbuster movies, he’s currently helping Slightly Mad Studios develop the highly sophisticated handling model for their driving simulator Project CARS.

In a recent interview for the official Project CARS website, Collins admitted his current favourite car/track combination in the game involves the Formula B machine and the rolling hills of Oulton Park. It’s here that the gauntlet has been cast.

Let it happen then! Collins already set a lap of 1’19.277 using the default car setup. Now it’s your turn to prove you can be faster. Watch Collins’ blistering lap on the Project CARS Facebook page, post your own time in the comments section, and have fun!
