Since the official debut of GM Design’s Chaparral 2X Vision GT concept car at the LA Auto Show yesterday, more in-game screenshots of the car in Gran Turismo 6 have been released, along with photos of the full-size 2X model unveiled at Chevrolet’s press event.

My point is clear about it because the volkswagen VGT was open top and the VGT without interiors are closed top, and as far as I can see this basically is an open top aswell

All I can say is, Hot Dawg!! That’s what I’m talking bout!! The aesthetics of this car is all about aerodynamics. Loving the looks of this VGT. Can’t wait to drive it!

Imagine crashing in this car. Possibly better than in normal racing car or F1 couse it would be quick without any chances to survive so no media boom like with any such a crash in motorsport. Than there could be a Red Bull X championship as well. Both for people without families or just for suicide thinking people. Well that would be really plenty of new drivers every year :( And eventualy the point of motorsport is over, isn’t it? So every Chaparral ment new way for cars that poeple could survive in, but this is nowhere near to even “survivable”. It should stay in virtual world. Tho I don’t say it’s nonsence. I kind of like the “engine” but can’t really think of any characteristick this could have. Instant power available all the time. And what about the noise? Well we’ll just have to wait and see.
PS: What do you think will be faster, this or Red Bull fun car? Like on long tracks it will be RB X, but what about short, or at least “cornery” tracks?

X2014 or 2X? Its not real, one of them is fast and the other one is just fast.
One of them has downforce that glues the car to the asfalt, the other one has just extra downforce.

I think it would be the kick he gets from watching someone having a blast on his brainchild. I know if I was him my expression would be quite similar….EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I just wish could see a better representation of Aussie cars from Holden/HSV/Walkinshaw/HDT and Ford/FPV. The Monaro GT, A9X Torana, VK Brock Group A VL Walkinshaw Commodores and the Coupe 4 / GTS / R8 Clubsport. XY GT HO XB XF Falcons F6 Typhoon and GT respectively for starters some legengendary cars amongst that lot.
