September DLC Teased for Project CARS

Project CARS Aston Martin DBR1-1

Slightly Mad Studios have begun teasing this month’s upcoming DLC for Project CARS. This news comes just two weeks after the recently released Old vs. New Car Pack that introduced iconic classic cars and their modern day counterparts.

This month’s DLC heavily teases two brand new tracks; one of which bringing about the return of the Test Track not seen since the development stages of the game, as well as the presence of Aston Martin as evidenced by the Le Mans-winning DBR1 pictured above.

Stay tuned to GTPlanet for the full reveal of this month’s DLC for Project CARS, and in the meantime remember to stop by our Project CARS forum for more discussion, in-depth analysis and more!

It would be awesome if they included the Nardo Ring Race Track from Italy in this game and tracks inside the ring as well. I know the banked track is probably the test track as many are speculating. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Nardo Ring.

You can find plenty of videos of the different sections of the Test Track on YouTube.

I remember looking through the track list when the game released in disappointment because it wasn’t available. Glad to see that it’s finally making it’s way in.

Has the WMD community had access to the Scotland track in any of the pre-release builds? This is the first I’ve heard of the track.

Good article but it would be even better if the author had included the screenshots of the GTE, LMP, Mercedes, and test track that have been posted in the Project Cars Instagram page in the past few days.

      So we’re getting 2 tracks? That’s cool.

The Scotland track does remind me of Misty Loch from Test Drive Ferrari (one of their previous games)

@Chevron, if that is Willow, it has to be the streets of willow course that is in GT6, but not in pcars yet. I can tell it isn’t from big willow or the horse thief mile. Looks more like Sonoma to me if anything I guess.

Unless they’ve changed it to mirror individual ribbons, everything can be driven on simply by driving to it; there’s even a short hillclimb section.

This is based entirely off the Test Track from the development builds, so take everything I’ve said with a grain of sand.

If it’s the same as the one from a couple of years ago, it’s a giant circle of banked track, many km’s around. The rest of the test track is inside the circle
