A new batch of A-Spec Seasonal Events are now available in Gran Turismo 5, featuring Honda’s iconic Civic. Cars may have no more than 415pp and tires can be no better than Comfort/Soft.

As you have probably heard by now, GT5‘s 2.09 update launched last night and brought with it some of the most interesting changes to the game in quite some time, addressing many common player complaints, including the sound of the Honda Weider HSV-010.

The latest update for Gran Turismo 5 is now available, and offers a few minor tweaks along with a timely change (given one of the questions in my recent interview with Kazunori Yamauchi) to the engine sound of the Honda Weider HSV-010.

Polyphony Digital has just released revised sales numbers for the Gran Turismo series as of September 2012.

A new website and video trailers have just been published for the 2012 U.S. GT Academy reality TV show, which premiers on Spike TV, Thursday, November 1st, at 11:30pm Eastern Time (check your local listings for other time zones). It will also be re-broadcast on MTV2 and available to download via YouTube and the PlayStation Store.

Note the “Performance Difference Bonus” applies, so more credits will be awarded for using a slower car below the maximum allowed PP value.

In yet another career milestone for GT Academy champion Lucas Ordoñez, he helped drive the radical Highcroft Racing Nissan DeltaWing prototype to an incredible 5th place overall finish at Road Atlanta’s Petit Le Mans.
