A quick-fix update has landed for the PS4 version of Assetto Corsa. Weighing in at a relatively paltry 400 MB, it addresses a handful of issues:
- Fixed broken steering rotation on wheels including G29, T300
- Fixed horn button on certain wheels
- Fixed “Real Racer” trophy
- Fixed force feedback setting in UI
- Fixed wrong ghost car timing
- Fixed sound problems on certain tracks caused by reverbs
- Fixed Monza 66 invisible wall
- Fixed track temperature
The patch arrives as Xbox One players just received the v1.09 update and first Porsche pack. The fixes continue to close the gap between the console versions and the original PC edition of Assetto Corsa, something Kunos Simulazioni has said is a priority.
Alongside this news, North American PlayStation 4 players also have extra incentive to pick up the title or its DLC, as the PS Store is offering both Assetto Corsa and its Season Pass for up to 55% off the regular list price. The Season Pass covers the Japanese Car Pack, the unreleased (and heretofore unscheduled) Red Pack, and three separate Porsche Packs.
The first of the Porsche Packs was released on the PS4 last month, slightly after the second one arrived for PC players. The third pack is scheduled to arrive on that platform December 20, with no word yet on the dates for either PS4 or XB1.
