I struggled on the Apricot Hill reverse race with a Lotus Esprit V8. Best I could get was 2nd. However the RUF RGT was the car for the job. Twitchy and tricky with the adverse cambers on this classic old circuit, but provided an hour or so of quality GT fun.
It’s quite long in the tooth now, the whole GT6 thing. But now and again it’s a larf.
I do hope for more Vision GT updates though. Caz said there’d be new cars coming to this current version of the game – but nothing else.

Why God, oh why did I even try this hot garbage seasonal event? I did the 700pp at red bull ring and could just kill myself. Whoever was involved in the decision to make the AI stop in the middle of the mother effing road at the exit of a corner when you are following close behind them should all be fired and blacklisted from the video game industry.

So torn right now..haven’t played in a few days so no log in bonus. But I’m at 16.5 million with only one 20 mil car left to buy (other than the Jag chromeline which I frankly don’t see the purpose of). I don’t know whether to just play or wait a few days and make a lot more

What is going on with this game? Is it the end of patches and real updates, whatever happened to the remaining vision concept cars? Seems like once that course creator app was finally released, this game was over.

This is something we’re all wondering at this point. It’s sad that PD doesn’t show some decency and let us know what’s going on instead of stringing us along…again. When I can finally get a PS4, I’m gonna watch reviews on the next game(s) before I decide to come back to GT. I’ve been playing since the beginning, but now, I’m just not sure anymore…

Three times it states “this weeks” seasonal? It should say this “months” seasonal. Events are available 2-11 thru 3-9. Must have forgot seasonals went monthly a while ago. PD at it’s best. Giving us cars we don’t need, two years after we have them. I’ll run these for a couple days then back to Assetta Corsa, the REAL driving simulator.

Unless the schedule was relaxed even more than it is now within the past week or so, they definitely aren’t monthly. They’re bi-weekly.

I’ve never played Assetta Corsa. Pretty lame that they used “the real driving simulator”. GT has used that line since ’98. Copy cats.

    3. Michael L.

I doubt he’s saying that’s their tag because, frankly, it isn’t; it’s “Your Racing Simulator” for AC. All I think Vette is implying is it [Assetto Corsa] fits the bill better than GT.

    4. VetteZR1

Your right on the money Michael. GT is now the wanna-be driving simulator. PD better step up their game or they will get left at the starting line.

VetteZR1, I know you were just downing GT. But I gotta have their back. I’m gonna name my next dog Kazunori. But I will give Assetta Corsa the chance it deserves on PS4.
