1, 2 and 6th and 8 bonus points is good. Did anyone 1,2,3?

Damn that caution flag :banghead: everything was going perfectly, I was looking at a 1,2,3 finish with my last minute Bottas pick. Now I'm looking at 1,2, and whatever finish. This is important because we all will pick Hamilton & Rosberg and keep getting CP's so Imo its all about your 3rd driver. The points fight is very close by the points standing so each point just like in real life is life & death to winning this thing!

 2 your 3rd driver picks!

But unless you have a load of CPs, or keep getting 1-2-3, then you only get one new CP each race. Once all of last year's bonus picks are burnt, people will have to get creative.

Personally I liked the system the year before last, where you got x number of CPs to use over the season, and that was it. Made for much better selection strategy.

Aaand, I got 1-9-17 this week :( (Button is classified in the official results, so isn't a DNF).

Damn, did so badly in that round.

1, 2, 8, very happy with that, ive picked three winners in a row....and I didn't do that last year!

1, 2, 9 +8. Pretty happy.

Like the V6 era, at the end of this year it could be better strategy playing out then picking the best 3rd driver but if not, we will know if this format or last years format will be best,.

Nope, a couple people did have both Mercedes' and a Force India though, just the wrong one.

If it continues this way I may consider going back to that setup for next year.👍

@Justin When will we get the results? :)
I run a series, actually 2 and doing massive spreadsheets for this many drivers takes a lot of free time, especially so since were not paying him for his services. I do appreciate that Justin is on top of his game, so I'm sure a day or 2!

Ok guys, I just figured out finally how to use this timing app to its full potential. Roughly speaking for me I only need 1 of the 4 pages, and maybe the track map layout to choose drivers to check their speeds and such. I saw guys closing in at 205mph in the DRS, and I confirmed the Ferrari's are down on top speed from 7 to 10 mph,. Anyways here is a run down on some of the technical stuff about the app.

Page 1: everyone's total times very simple, and you can select drivers

Page 2: this is the one I only need, it has the tires, stint, and total. This page confused me a little at 1st because some of the the tires are filled in. Then I realized the tires that are colored in are the sets that are completely fresh. The ones that are not colored in are the ones that that used during qualifying and the sets also tell you after they pit how many laps stint & total that were completed on that particular set.

Page 3: this is just the best sectors page

Page 4: this is the predicted live standings page, nothing special

Track Layout: self explanatory, all cars are click-able for more data as they race, and certain corners have close up shots

Last Words:
Originally since I'm in California most of the races happen in the middle of the night while I'm sleep so I thought last year this app would be use less, but this year I gave it a shot and thank god I did because you can download all 3 practice session plus the qualifier & race if those session have already commenced. So this app is not a waste of your time & money if you miss the races. You can simply download the data and fast forward, pause are rewind the data to the time of your TV recording so you can stream the data as the race is playing on you TV set at whatever time you happen to watch the race or recording. If you are into pit strategies like I am and cars track position all of the time, you know the ones not on the TV set at the moment that are pitting are doing something else, well yea you can catch all that with this app!!!

 F1 Timing App

This shot here is why as of now I'm pro V6 era, because of these new technical tweaks the race team can now make be just as important & busy as the drivers are and I think that's great since their are hundreds of guys at the home bases crunching #'s and sending data to the track. Also I just read that the FIA is adding something to increase the sound of the V6's motors anyways by the Spain round. To be honest the d:censored:k noses bother me more than the sound any day of the week. Fix that in my opinion even tho Charlie W. announced he's on that already too for next year!,. Red Bull is the only chassis that got the new nose reg's completely right this year, and Ferrari needs to stop with their ugly nose designs already. A fast car is a good looking car and that's been proven already!!!

Almost got a 1-2-3 if it wasn't for the safety car anyway lol. Hulk's strategy was a late charge on a worn tyre'd perez. Oh well.

1-2-5 + 8

That makes 2 of us I had Ham,Ros,Bot before the yellow flag we :banghead: together

1-6-9 +8 BP apparently since most of us went for Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton. This one went so bad...

1-2-6+8bp pretty happy with that.
While the Mercs are so dominant, I will continue to use my CP's from last year, picking both Mercs, until someone eventually catches up

Up to 44th position; a gain of two spots; and next race I can only pick one Mercedes and then who....? When will the other teams' development catch up?

BlaqueJacques, the op has not been updated as of yet.
You may have gained more than you think. :P

I got 1-2-ret + 8bp

That's the second ret for me this season already >.<

Thinking about the 3 most reliable chassis vs the 3 fastest drivers next time around! :)

When are we going to get the results and form for China?

Something must of came up, he'll be back around. I sometimes lag the spreadsheets too...

China picks: Hamilto, Rosberg, Hulkenberg (hopefully he reaches the damn podium, he deserves it)

What do we do if Justin isn't about before the china race? I personanly think we should all post our choices on here to cover ourselves.

Ham (cp)
Ric
Hulk
