Is there any live coverage of the IMSA race in the UK? I'm sure Daytona was shown live on the IMSA website in the UK, but it doesn't look like WG will be...

In his mind I guess the 47 Ferrari thought he could block a P2 car, :boggled:

Weird thing is, they remembered this in GT6. Somehow they forgot onwards.

Under yellow. Big rain coming which will probably end this race.

and the rain is moving off and the track is drying, sprint race time.

I've only been watching bits of the race as the Scotland Euros game is on right now, so I don't know what happened - I hope she is OK.

So far, I don't think I've seen more than a few minutes of green light racing at WG - I know safety is important, but this restart process seems to be ridiculously long... and now there's another yellow :rolleyes:
 
Bad luck for the iron dames again: Bovy lost the car in a corner + wet track and crashed into a barrier
They managed to get in the top 5 after starting from the back of the field due to some problems with the engine (too much power or something).

I hope that's just because of the impact and the g force sensor and nothing serious...

Bovy had to stay over night in the hospital (Source: https://sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/bovy-released-from-hospital-after-watkins-crash/) and today it was announced that Iron Dames/Iron Lynx withdraw the entry from the 24h of Spa (Source: https://sportscar365.com/sro/world-challenge-europe/iron-dames-withdraw-from-24h-spa/)

Something interesting about that deal is that HRC is bringing in their own people to run one of those cars.

Maybe - seems like MX-5s at Martinsville

EDIT: yes, MX-5s on October 26th supporting the Whelen Modified finale or whatever that is (not into NASCAR), 100 laps oval racing

Off and running at Road America, 31 gets turned while trying to block Tandy in the #6 and the 64 Mustang punted the 3 Corvette into the gravel at turn 5.
 
That was quite the last lap!
 
Just caught the last 10 minutes of Road America, did the #12 Lexus hit a bird or something?
 
So great to see David Hobbs again. I loved his F1 commentary back in the day.

Looks like it. Apparently Honda hasn't been supporting the car like they used to, even though it is homologated for several more years.

Wasn't AXR in Le Mans on the grounds of being the reigning IMSA GTP champion? Of course, then the wild card was the 3rd 963. Nevertheless, the article quotes Wayne Taylor saying "global program", my immediate thought was that he's looking to compete in Le Mans.
