Apart from new skins, i'm happy - on a driving matter - with the v0.94. All it needs is probably a few more skins.


Talking about cars that need a rework, anyone have a proper finished version of the 50s mercedes sl300 w194? The version i own is pretty old - and i'm not sure geroda74 updated it since. There's a weird blue/green glitch in the side mirror on further LODs, and the materials are a little off.

I've always used pure as it comes, throwing a grip level in the drive menu and the pure weather as it goes

But i have to be much much more precise now that i'm tickling the AI. i have to make sure i'm playing in the exact same conditions, notably road temps, humidity, whatever could impact the tyre model on cars.

So, i was trying to set up a "fixed setting" using the stamp mode, so that i could recall the exact same condition on every game : same weather, same road temp (fixed) same time of the day, date etc...

So i usually save the stamp plan with paused timer, fix road and air temps, and recall it at start.

Is there a way to recall that plan on each start without me going into Pure - something i would have missed in the drive menu or in the "last used plan" recall from pure?



Related to this, the "use extended physics" from the Drive menu : with old mods and no dedicated scripts, does it has an automatic script of its own? How is it impacted by pure weather - on the tyres, on the grip, etc... ?

I don't think i'm the only one completely missing the parts that are included in "extended physics" and the parts that aren't. Empirically some mods are faster without it (as for the AI, as a player i don't feel it that much) but again, i'm sure some cars with dedicated physics scripts need it - and some other don't.

On the matter, a small hint on the car selection ("extended physics missing" or "car has extended physics") would at least help a little people like me that are pretty much lost on the subject, i'm almost positive i saw that somewhere but since i can't recall where, i'm just checking the box out of mist when i want to test things.

I don't have any particular sentiments about the mods I've worked on. For me, it was just an interesting hobby. I may have spent many hours on it, but it was purely for my own enjoyment. I certainly don't intend to retain any copyright on the mods. Since I've shared it, everyone can use it however they want, including editing. That's why I suggested that someone else add this mod to the downloads section, someone who will maintain it and possibly develop it further. If you or someone else would be willing to do so, I'd be delighted.
P.S. If anyone does, don't forget to mention GeroDa74; his 3D model was the basis for this mod.

You can load a specific plan in the pure dynamic weather settings in CM drive weather menu.

Write in „\Stamp\planname“

And Pure does nothing specific to car related physics. It just sets weather controller parameters. So it would not be different if you set the exact same weather parameters in the default weather controller.

Did you hit "Reload" after put the car in the cars folder? CM sometimes is stupid as hell. By hitting Reload everything worked fine for me in the past with other cars that shows the same error.

And none of those version seem "polished" to me. It needs better materials, i wouldn't mind a physics attention (it drives like a modern car) etc...

Thanks, i understand what pure is and that CSP does the physics translations 👍. Pure planner being the most complete and easiest to setup, i'm teying to fill my tweaking gaps with it.

But I need to know a bit more more about csp physics adds . Not strictly for Peter but for anyone on this thread :


I was wondering if all CSP physics were lost in the process when unchecking the "use extended physics" - something i know partly already, ie with the "rain" physics not applied without ext phys, but i wonder, especially on the grip/tyre reaction :

1. i suppose it's a "no data used at all from the weather system" so it relies strictly on the drive menu track grip when ext phys are off. But i'm not 100% sure about that.

2. Do you know if the cars without dedicated extension.ini or any data related to ext phys get a "default" tyre model/weather physics fallback or whatever involved with physics? Is the default file available somewhere? Is it with us in the room rn?

3. i forgot about the 3rd one, but it was very interresting and technical

4. In case i needed to do something completely stupid like calling another "default" set for ext physics (and i understand it's ac.physics script, not my usual app lua), would this be from an edit/creation of the extension.ini file in the car's folder?

I am trying to figure out road temps, track grip and related stuffs for AIwhisp. The issue with "ideal conditions" is that it fixes the day time at noon, therefore i cannot test different road temps and stuffs.

You gave me the solution i asked for, but not the one i needed. Or is it the solution i deserved, but not the one i expected? I don't know man, this city sucks.

Here is the kn5 of the Lancia 037 Stradale by S3r1u5/ACR / ACTK without mesh errors in the sides, replace the kn5 inside the folder, I recommend using the S3r1u5/ACR / ACTK version because it already has an excellent configuration of the reflection of the headlights and more....

2 qustions. i have my free camera active in csp it dowsnt work when i press f7 ingame. is there somewhere else to have a look to check if it should work? and secondly, recently i asked about profile datas. i dont wanna delete my entire profile only the car data i made so far like top speed, mileage etc but not everything else can stay. how can i do that?

If anybody cares, I grabbed a little bit of footage from when I played with AI Whisperer a while back, the footage isn't particularly great and neither is my driving on controller (the clip ends with me slamming into the 4C) but despite this being a now slightly outdated version of AI Whisperer, using a smattering of good and bad mods, and default settings (I may not have even applied the safe modern preset to all the cars here, it may have been on complete default) you can see some back and forth between the ai cars, and they fight harder to maintain position, I was particularly impressed when the Cadillac ATS passed me back up the hill. Though mostly this made me realize that the Mazda RX Vision is annoying and I should find better engine sounds for it.
