ASR F1 1991 - (Free Cars) graphical update for CSP
v1.1 by RMi

!! REQUIRES CSP !! (Custom Shaders Patch)
- overwrites no original files -

This patch update adds the following features:

ParticlesFX:
- SPARKS SPARKS SPARKS! Recreates the extreme underbody sparking from this era
- exhaust plumes (Global warming effect)

TiresFX:
- F1 damage, flat-spotting, grain, flex, etc
- brake heat smoke

General:
- enhanced tire shadows
- generic F1 includes for CSP


Bug (*only in CSP preview versions*):
- Smoke effects are black

Install:
- use CM or JSGME to install to Assetto folder
or
- copy archive content to .\commom\assettocorsa\ (content\cars\*)

Thanks a lot for this cool addition but I think if You are not a user of "SOL" and You still using CM with CSP (as me), the tires look really too much black.




No special filter in theses pics, what you see is what I get even if I drive with the cockpit view (for your information, It's 02H30 PM in the game).

Thanks for proving a pic - this particular model is what came up whilst searching... Have not come across a street version in AC, but as we live and breathe, this can happen overnight... These are some of the versions in game thus far. By bringing this topic to light, it may generate interest to dress-down an existing track version.

OK, got it... Initially thought you may be working on the existing paid-mod and were toning the grass surroundings to look more like IRL, and not so green as depicted by the paid version... Now, if this is a scratch made circuit then you're onto a great start by the looks thus far 👍 onya!

all good, only a few hours this afternoon, teaching myself how to use RTB. The limitations are going to be, well, limiting, because you cannot do many things in RTB that require hopping out to blender.. but.. RTB cannot bring the blender file back in.. so a bit of planning on how I export in groups to overcome this issue. but. does not seem that difficul (famous last words.. 90% of a job is always easy, its that last 10% , the devil in the details that kills.. ask me, I know, I am a jeweller by trade.. )

Q: when i race Bathurst in AMS2, i get a succint feeling of travelling up and down, in AC and ACC and RF2 I do not get that "feel".. anyone know why? Going down the esses I nearly get a "belly flop" feeling in AMS2..

I thought initially it might be the FOV/POV difference, but using the same cars and same general fov/pov the feeling is not matched? Is this an engine thing? The ACC/AC/RF feels flatter?

FWIW i upgrade to 3 x 32' screens today, and the new bathurst in AC is by far a better "feel", even than the ACC one, strange since its the same one.. maybe the AMS2 one has been scaled UP in Y?

Apparently it won the World Rally Championship in 1981 and it seems an amusing car.

Finally...

I finally discovered the culprit about the 961 model being transparent in 3DS, it's because those ***holes at Gamemodels.ru have left transparency on the model before uploading it to their site, therefore I had to disable it myself, thanks...

Anyways, I managed to add the proper HQ interior from CPIT LOD and was pretty easy to do so apparently, now just have to wait either for @TonyBarracuda or someone else of you to add proper shaders and values to the interiors since don't know which ones to associate to each materials honestly. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you all the necessary files.

Did anyone convert or converted the BPR GT and 1997 FIA mod pack from GTR2? I ask because, 1. i suck at modding and took a class for it, but i still suck, 2. i want to drive the F40 GTE, 993 GT2, Lister Storm GTL and the Callaway C4 GT2, and 3. i don't even have the game i might get sooner or later though.

A lot of things made me doubt that the rt_bathurst version comes from ACC, after decompressing the KN5 and loading in blender, the names of the objects and textures are the same as the Rfactor 2 version, it's an excellent and super successful version but why make people believe that it comes from ACC ?

The first, thanks for your job and sharing it , only one question, this car is slow, why? in description says "top speed of 195 miles per hour (314 km/h)" but this version doesn't reach 200 km/h, its weird.

Only data file update? Are you planning to add the HQ interior that TonySSS offered? I really wish you would join the "GTPlanet Modding Team" and share the car here. People are having difficulty getting through your required registration on your website.

Trust me it does...I really don't have to argue this...the naming is the same because the version you posted is also taken from Acc

Forget the naming anyway check the actual meshes in blender....I'm sure you will agree after a closer look

Some of the cars are being heavily modified by CSP car configs, its a very powerful tool, but sometimes the changes that are made by the config file can look off or bad in my eyes. That file may be the cause of the problem if the car is the original Kunos MX5.

Assuming it is the original Kunos car, the License Plate texture is indeed being changed by CSP. take a look in the Car Config file. For me that is located in < C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\cars\loaded \_> and the file is < ks_mazda_miata >

This location can actually be located easily from CM in the settings / custom shaders patch / car configs tab, click the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and selecting "view in explorer" option

Comment out or delete this section.

[Material_LicensePlate_Europe]

I would guess that the car config the file will need to be edited again if CM downloads an updated version.
