I see it. Thanks a lot. Did you mess with the Sharpen an Ignore Film grade sliders or just leave them at their default values?

for me i just played around with it a bit but have just about settled on sharpen at about 0.10 and ignore film grain at about 0.14.
But that really is going to depend on other settings like your monitor and sharpening in games.

Obvioulsy the reason for GPU scaling means you can run lower resolutions and it will be scaled up in game so only change resolution on per game basis, in game settings, don't change desktop resolution via nvidia CP, IMO anyway.

One more thing, per game nvidia settings you can alter sharpening etc there, so you could remove any sharpening via that per game...

do you mean to remove the blacked out lcd?

place ext_config.ini in extension folder in the cars main folder (will need to make one) (removes the blanking plates)

place digital_instruments.ini in data folder (sorts font sizes)

@__EASY__ could you ask Ilja for a small request please? You know that we have these information or track description along also with the car´s description available in CM (oh yes I love snipping in Win10):

Why not putting these infos into the loading screen? So could you please ask if he could implement an option a. to move the content into upper left corner (to gain more space for the description) and b. if he could also implement the car´s description into that screen instead of the "old" Kunos info like tyresV10 etc? I think every car now has tyres v10...

Done a lot of things on that track a while ago. Not at me PC now, but maybe @Fanapryde could share it? Or just wait till tomorrow. :)

Edit: just seen being ninjad by @Fanapryde, sorry. :)
But some more things had been done: grass, rain, lights fx, fixed some weird surfaces, tree walls, vehicles and some more stuff I can't remember right now.

Ouch. I don't know how easy it is to just flip the track vertically (I imagine it's difficult), but I guess simply moving the sun to the opposite side wouldn't quite work either, because it would move around from morning through the day to sunset on the "wrong way" of the backstraight.

Re the Alfa.
Don't know if you missed my previous post about it (or you don't drive in the rain and forgot about it) 🙃

But this is how far to the drivers' side the wiper goes.
It would be nice to see the wiper covering the left part of the screen too...

Yep, a lot has been done to that basic track. All your fixes, ai by @Cote Dazur (iirc), cameras by Leonardo Ratafia, I made a skin (my very first iirc) ... :D

Improvements that could be offered via an extension rather than whole car uploaded to sharemods....
What i don't get is how he has the ear of Ilija, who implimented encryption (which i am fine with),
people have made big songs and dances about stopping public mods because of people altering mods...
Yet here he is the poster boy of why people ask for encryption tools and leave modding publically...

I don't get how Iija can be against people altering mods, yet happily have this character as his spokesperson...
Not sure what they did with rusty but i'd love to hear his take on it...

Oh Guys, it's easy! it all exports at the correct scale and everything.

Here's about 20% of El Capitan in Assetto Corsa. Added a normal map to the asphalt and that's it. Obviously some changes are needed like the trees etc... but it shows just how good Gran Turismo looked back in the day.

I guess the next step is to document the process so other can have a go at it?

If anybody is interested in picking a track and having a go at the conversion let me know, with a few people it'd only take a few weeks to get all of the GT originals in AC.

Hey Nukedrop, Did you ever document the process for this? I can think of a few GT series tracks I would like to have a go at. Any advice greatly appreciated.
